I've played darts league since almost 40 yrs ago, however, only when i started archery abt 3 yrs ago that I learned that FOC is also very important in darts, I hope someone will do a video on this subject in the near future.
Your strongest eye, but try to find the best way to grip the dart first. You will find that you hold the dart in a comfortable way and you can hit targets with general ease! You will then notice that you always bring the dart to the same position each time before you are about to throw it! Once u have done the above, things like stance and where to put ur feet will all go into place automatically! It all starts with the grip and u find it when u can hit targets consistently!
JoeZsk8r aim is mainly part of the rhythm. Board hight is the same throw distance is the same you stand in the same place each time so aim is where you position your throwing hand each time you look at the target in which you want to hit with both eyes. Try and get the power of your arm the same each time this will result in better grouping.
