@jonty2k Hahaha, that's TRUE! But to tell you the truth the record company wanted "more stuff" on stage to create energy and to look at, so... Anyway, it was great to perform at TOTP and despite not really needing the drummer soundwise, he was a great guy and all the girls and him really added to the thing, especially for me, as I would've felt somewhat alone there tweaking a knob, pushing a fader and playing some keys in the middle of that crowd... ;)
You've done TOTP live? (Hint, they didn't let pretty much anyone do anything live, with the exception of some biggest names, who might've sang partly live). I barely got electricity this time. If you'll find my TOTP performance of 'Out Of Control', you see me doing nothing but sitting, letting singer Tammy & dancers do their thing. Why? I wasn't going to even get power for the synths, yet they would've shot from above so it would've been even more obvious the performances are playbacks.
I'm all about hotties dancing, but it's a damn shame with all the unbelievable talent I've seen in the clubs, that they don't bring them out. I'll never forget the insane glow-stick dancers and the black light hue, and the smell of those fog machines!
hey Darude :D thanks for your comment! wasnt a blame, sorry! must be awful for an artist to perform like this... like you say nearly without electricity xD keep on, like your sound!
Bro... Its a concert performace... Its the experience of being there with other people... Fireworks, Loud Music, Lasers, Lights, Fog machine, dancing performers... The crowd needs to yell and move so that the one whos performing isnt off put by the silence... Most likely the crowd there for TOTP was a paid background audience or maybe some of them might of been invited from somewhere for free... Any ways 4 years now... Dont know what you have experienced yet... so yep...
No, I'm not. It's a joke (or meme) going around the internet in which when people ask what song is in a video, everybody always replies "Darude-Sandstorm". Some people also joke by asking what song it is on a Darude-Sandstorm video. So yeah.
