I'm from the UK and I use a strimmer with a loop handle or ergo (ergonomic? Lol) handle, and find myself stooping all the time and standing up straight and hearing my back click. This is a game changer, I'm definitely buying one soon 👍
Daniel, it definitely is a great tool and it is absolutely a game changer. I just mowed and edged yesterday and my lawn and my back look great!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
Mark, that is awesome. I apologize for the delayed response. I have been out with rotator cuff surgery and as such I have taken a break from YT for a couple of month's. I sincerely apologize for the delay. I as well have the 6.0 that were sent to me to try out and perform a review this coming season. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
Please allow me to add, when the tool is at working position your arms should be relaxed. Not too high, not too low. Also with an edger you should be pushing down to keep the wheel against the pavement and the handle should be slightly to the left for steering purposes. On a weed eater you should be carrying all the weight and back upright no slouching with arms almost straight. When edging with the weed eater simply turn the machine so your right thumb is on the throttle and left hand on the elbow of the darwins bar
Stephen my apologies for the length of time it has taken to respond to this comment. I did not know the answer to shipping to Greece. I did reach out to the owner , and it took some time before I received a response. He did confirm that Greece is on the list to allow for shipping. Thank you for the comment. If you have any other questions, I will find the answer one way or the other. LOL.
Thanks. I am really bad at being as "cinematic" as some others. But with getting new job and the training that goes with it the last 4 weeks have been seriously crazy. Should be able to push out some more content by this weekend. Yes sir, it is growing, it is mind blowing looking back at where I was a year ago.
David, my humblest apologies for not getting back to you any sooner. We had a death in the family and I haven't been on YT for some time. I have inquired with Darwin's Grip and he stated that there only needs to be a simple swapping of the grip and vise to the other sides. I hope that this helps, I was a little queried by the left handed option, and my edgers and the like are all packed away in the shed until I get them out in the early spring. Again I apologize for the delay in the response to your question. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
If you have a similar experience like I did, within just a few minutes of using it. I was basically saying "Where have you been all my life?!!" I don't know how well that comment would go over if my wife heard me say it with out proper context, I might be living out in the shed, if she took it wrong. LOL. I hope you love your DG. I would love to hear about your experience with it. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
Daniel, thank you I appreciate it. The Darwin's Grip is a game changer when it comes to being able to do the edging and not regret it later in the day!! LOL. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
@@TheHighlanderLawn Thanks, I'm 6ft 5 and issues with back run in the family. I'm just getting into being a golf greenkeeper so want to nurse my back as best I can. Thanks for taking the time to do the vid. I like you don't have that manic salesman youtuber energy and it's more real. Cheers
I suggest blurring out your license plate, in case. There are very talented people with resources that can use those for whatever reason I do not know. Whatever the case, It's better to be safe. Blur the address on the mailbox or the wall wherever it appears. Great video. Thank you. I will consider buying one.
My apologies for not responding earlier. I have been crazy busy the last 3 months and I have been a little neglectful to responding to comments. Been remodeling my daughter's recently purchased home. Thank you for the heads up. Yes it is unfortunate that those "talented people" don't use those talents to do good and help others and in doing so, help themselves to get better, but they use it to destroy and enrich themselves. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
Zeno, thank you for the comment. Could you please expound on that? What you are looking for? I am always wanting to take in feedback. Or am I just missing some sarcasm that may be being laid down pretty thick!! LOL
My apologies for not responding earlier. I have been crazy busy the last 3 months that I have been a little neglectful to responding to comments. Been remodeling my daughter's recently purchased home. In regards to the Darwin's grip. It is a fantastic innovation. He has made some fantastic upgrades and I will be putting a video out showing those upgrades/improvements later this season. The product is well worth the price and I would raise the possibility that , in this circumstance, that one might use the old saying "you get what you pay for!!" But to each their own. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
Allen, dang that sucks!! I have done that with a few other products. The trimmer head got overworked and got super hot and even started smoking!! I hope that EGO might work with you on something, especially if the unit is still under warranty. Thank you for the comment, I hope to hear from you in the future.
Randy, Just a follow up and yes I am sorry for the delay, But DG said that the code is still operative. But I hope that you enjoy the product and that it relieves your back.
@@TheHighlanderLawn I do like the DG. You were spot on with your review. Arms get sore from using different muscles but no back or shoulder pain. Thanks for the honest and accurate review. Randy D.
That is awesome!! I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have. It has really helped the strain on my back. Thank you for the comment. I hope to hear from you in the future.
First of all it helps keep the blade edger at a much better angle and is easier to control. Secondly, when string trimming, it saves the awkward angle I find myself in when trying to get the cut right. I am not the tallest of people, and it helps to keep great control of the trimmer as well.
MKfan 616 Well as the old saying goes: "To each their own." For me, It is a must have item thas relieved my "hunching over" and thereby straining my back. So, "no back pain??......Yes please!! Totally helped me, but it sounds like it may not be for you. Thank you for the comment.
