Daryl in those two episode STILL and ALONE proved he's the type of soul that seeks emotional connection in order to feel comfortable enough to explore physical pleasure and Beth's the same, personality wise there complete opposite but emotionally/spiritually there the same. They seek deeper connects to evolve intimately, they both established there not there siblings Daryl isn't Merle and Beth isn't Maggie there not a free with there bodies cause there different people. Daryl wouldn't initiate physical contact with other characters not until after his character development with Beth he huge Carol and puts his head on her shoulder when they reunite. When other character like Carol or Rick try to touch Daryl they always did cautiously like approaching a wild animal. Beth bulldozes over his boundaries and his force field. She see's who he is she knows him and trusts him implicitly. she has since the day he held Judith, none of his defense mechanism work on her. All his grunts,shrugs,snarls and glares didn’t deter her, he was baffled 😮and intoxicated🥴🤒just by her existence,the beauty and hope she Represented.He was completely mystified😵💫by her. Beth and Daryl are Beauty and the Beast a tale as old as time when you fall in love in the most unexpected of ways and when you least expect it. The scene on the funeral home where she sings to him and he told her to keep playing. was pretty similar to Belle reading to Beast and him asking to read again, with beast having the same struggle as Daryl being cursed he never got the chance to mentally develop properly, hence why all the tantrums and angry outburst. They were as close to a fairytale as walking dead was ever gonna get. They were Rapunzel and Flynn AT LAST I SEE THE LIGHT. 🎇 The story of them in the woods was pretty identical she was doe eyes bright hopeful positive light 💡 that kept pulling him out of the darkness and pushing him forward. And he was the criminal with the shameful past exciting without purpose. Who took her from her tower and showed her she was strong and capable all along 🥺

I was so impressed then I read a funny interview with him that said they had him run a section of road a mile and a half long wearing all those heavy clothes and carrying the crossbow. damn this video broke my heart. I always thought that they would became great friends and just when it look like something more was happening between them she is kidnap :(. I believe they're going to kill Beth because some fans will hate them together and Daryl is what give audience to the show and a lot of people didn't like the changes in the character.
I agree with you about people hating changes in the character. But Daryl still go on very badass, even with Beth next to him. He killed a lot walkers in episode 13. Daryl can be badass and he always was a needy person. The big evidence about it is : he always did everything to satisfy Merle, a kind of brother very difficult for love and forgive acts.
Poison Heart People do seem to think they are changing his character with this but I don't. To my mind he has always been both a badass and a very damaged person. I think the most interesting thing about him was that he was ashamed of his life and didn't want to be like Merle so he was open to be influenced by a man he respected, like Rick, or to be encouraged to come out of his shell by Carol. It was hard for him but he tried anyway and that is it's own brand of courage, much harder for him than killing walkers.The shame though is what I think Beth helped him overcome. It was like she tore open a festered wound and now he is healing. There was no judgment from her, just affection. I don't think that Beth had any idea on how powerful an effect her casual gestures of affection might have on someone who has been so starved of it though. I'm so impatient to see what happens next!
I don't believe they will talk more about Beth till season 5 :(. I think you're right he still a badass even more with her by his side because we know Daryl protects what he loves. But if we compare the serie and the HQ I think either she had "become" Dale who was kidnapped by the cannibals or gets in the love triangle that leads Carol to try suicide.

Patty Hernandez This is my point:) Real life, other films, novels, short stories, classics of literature etc. People are strange about it and about other points. I watched Dexter, and the relationship with his stepsister was a BIG issue for morality of the people, many fans disgusted with the possibility. But in classics of literature exists this kind of romance. The same applies to difference's age!
