Daryl Coley is a BEAST! What a voice! It takes some sho' 'nuff sangin' to sing a song like that without a choir! I love the original version, but Daryl took it to the next level. I hear so many possibilities the next time our choir sings that song.

Awesome!! Daryl sure knows how to sing a choir song as a solo. I have an old casset (yes a casset tape) of him singing "DEAR JESUS I LOVE" a Walter Hawkins song, back in the '80's, and as always, it was AWESOME!
Was at a program years ago and he sang "Grateful" by Hezekiah Walker as a solo. My Lord he tore it up to the glory of God. Wish there was a recording of it out there. Been looking for it ever since...even a bootleg copy.... Probably 10 years ago

God doesn’t need to take notes he calls whoever he wants and does whatever he wants if someone can sing it’s because God allowed them to be able to. All Gospel singers are unique in their own way so it’s best they sing and praise how God wants them to because it’s for a reason he catches everyone’s attention in different ways and different voices as well 😇🌈🔥🙏🏾
Always the perfect mix of technical skill with Holy Spirit led anointing!! Sadly, many of our gospel artists today have learned to imitate runs, but have neither the musical technical understanding nor the anointing. Today everyone is gifted, but lack real development, and a biblical framework for what they write. Thank GOD for DARYL COLEY!! He is sorely missed!
