"My name's Daryl Dixon. I come from a place called the Commonwealth. It's in America. I went out looking for something, and all I found was trouble. If I don't make it back, I want them to know I tried." We appreciate you guys, for all your support, so don't forget to hit that subscribe button, it really motivates us to keep up the content. @@jackmarshall3255 I think its just his acting is alot worse than the other kids which annoy me, and the whole messiah thing is very cringe, and dont get me started on the last minutes of the last episode. Honestly dont even think his character is necessary in the series, if they removed him they could have focused on the other more interesting characters.
Unfortunately Norman Reedus said on his Instagram that Seven the Dog has passed away. R.I.P Seven you where the goodest of good boys in the Apocalypse.
someone, somewhere, one day said "hey i bet norman would look really hot in a period french costume" and they are a god among men i swear his costuming is Peak Hot Daryl it's so good
What i like about this is that it doesnt have any comic source material potential. It's fully an original story. Also, lol Fleur Delaceur Nun and Daryl Dixon killing Acid Walkers in France
I love how different this show is from the main show and dead city The cinematography and music are absolutely on top form, it’s so good And of course Daryl is gonna help the kid regardless of him wanting to get back home, it’s just who he is and I love him for it
I know it's been said, but I've got to say it's great to have trin, which she can translate the French for us. Thanks, Trin. 😊 When Rob said about The Walking Dead gone back to World War II, the old days. The the world has in some way, no technology, no cars the way of life has changed. Back to how life once was.
Not sure why, maybe I was TWD burned out, but initially I wasn't hyped for this installment even though I heart Daryl and he reminds me of my hubby in many ways. I was so happy when I enjoyed every single episode and liked it waaaaay more than I thought. Thank you both!!💚
Daryl Dixon blew my expectations tbh, I was expecting it to be good cuz Norman is an exec producer and I know he’d make sure they did something solid, and the main show for me had massively improved over seasons 9-11 but even then, it still exceeded what I was expecting
As French see Daryl drink Cristaline in the first minutes of the episode was so funny to me idk why !! Trin translating everything for Rob was so nice !!! And the fact that for once it is up to the English speaker to read subtitles feel like a revenge😅
here we go, this one i seen like 4 eps of too haha stopped to wait for yall to catch up. this one is neat, this one takes place after "we who live? those who live?" which is weird how they released these spin offs cause that came far after irl lol
Finally Daryl Dixon :) !. Interesting start to this show huh ??. Isn't it amazing how fresh and different this feels from the other shows ??. It's almost like a arthouse independent french horror film. I think you guys are gonna love it ;).
I believe Daryl said he comes from the Commonwealth because I think our main group took over the Commonwealth at the end of season 11 and they have Alexandria secured as well
Sadly we lost dog a few days ago in real life. Not sure how they will address this in the story when Daryl tries to see his dog again. R.I.P. seven you good dawg
Its honestly so much better rewatching this with Trin and Rob, especially Trin as I never took a lick of french outside of watching Madeline as a young gal. This is honestly a very slow burn show but it will be revealed to you exactly how Daryl ended up in France. No spoilers of course. Enjoy! I honestly like Episode 2 much better than one. But yeah, I love how TWD has shown more than the USA dealing with the apocalypse. One of my favorite bits from Fear was when Victor Strand found the Abigail and was able to talk to that Russian Cosmonaut and how chilling when he said "I watched the lights go out across the world."
Great show, great reaction Rob & Trin. Also Trin, thanks A LOT! for translating the signs as I never knew what they said.. Did you notice anything familiar in Isabelle? She also plays Fleur Delacoure in Harry Potter since the 4th movie
Yeah guys, that’s the big question - is there a connection between Mme Genet and CRM given the post credit scene from The World Beyond? What troubles befall Daryl? Let’s strap in and get ready for the ride. 👍🏻😊 PS. Trin, the actress playing Isabelle is a well known French actress, right? Seems Ive seen her before.
Did you guys know that the blonde girl in the show was also in Harry Potter? - Harry Potter and the goblet of fire, and the reason we won’t see dog is because it passed in real life 😢
Pretty sure the idea is that he tied himself to the boat, it capsized, and he was exhausted, so he tied himself to the top of the boat so he wouldn't get shaken off.
Which makes sense to mention? The place they almost abandoned and literally then also lost, as it was falling apart, no food and almost burnt completely down? Or the place with about 50,000 people that has way better walls and much more room than Alexandria ever did and they fought their asses off for at the end and that one of his own is now the governor of? So yes, he's from the Commonwealth. It's not where he started from, but it is where he ended up.
If thats south of france then what country is it in , and if it is in france then you should be saying southern france, not the south of france ...saying the latter makes it seem like your talking about a different country
I think this and the richonne spin off will have you realizing that dead city was the weakest so far. I am hopeful for the second season. Was disappointed in the first. Daryls show i loved from the first episode.
