I love this acoustic version Daryl ... makes me miss Phoenixville and your hometown Pottstown takes me back to my childhood in Norristown and the Montgomery Mall and `` that kiss ' Is still on MY list``
It's a Daryl Hall song - Sang by Daryl Hall - But it just doesn't cut the mustard - Daryl voice is as powerful yet smooth as expected - But music wise it sounds as if half the bands missing - When the public are used to listening to his classic songs especially one as loved as this song - Then he decided to mess with the backing- What are we supposed to think ? - I think I can see what what he's tried to do here - Any other instrument rather than the spanish guitar - maybe Clarinet or Sax solo might have helped give it some credence or credibility - But It make you think he's just recorded it as a filler for the album !
