I dont think the writers can ever duplicate the chemistry that was between Daryl and Beth. She had just the right amount of sweet innocence and toughness that I think would have been good fir someone like him. If he's gonna fall inlove it should be with someone like that
I'm thinking Maggie and Daryl getting together in S8 would be the perfect way for them to remember Beth. Plus Maggie is going to need help with the baby and Daryl feels it's his fault Glen died so... it's a no-brainer.
Dog Lover Beth is dead for sure. Nobody can survive a head shot unless the writer can do some magic explanation. As for Daryl and Carlo, I definitely feel that the producer might ship them later in the show.

in my opinion Daryl Beth was the best Ship/couple in TWD. they just made so much sense! I mean it wasn't tge usual sexual tension but their journey together was all emotional and almost spiritual, they connected so deep and fill each other spaces. Daryl had no innocence which beth had, they were just perfect. I cried like a baby when beth died. but I just want Daryl to be single all through out TWD till it ends. I don't he'll be able to open up on someone like he did with beth.

And without her he's completely regressed into state of deep depression There 20 year age gap never 👎 come across as predatory. It was cute ☺️ delicate with Daryl past abuse emotionally and mentally stunting him, he's underdeveloped and is basically the same age mentally as Beth it's a case of Chronology .vs. Biology 🧬 what indicates maturity? Daryl has never experience romantic or intimate relationship. So it was never a case of a older man taken advantage of a younger girl when there both equally inexperienced and on there journey of discovery together. And it's clear he's not having random hook ups, the guy doesn't even like to be touched. he has no experience or awareness of physical intimacy or how to deal with it. it said it all when Beth hugged him season 4 episode 1. And its evident Beth would taking the lead on all physical intimacy's in the begging. if Daryl has experience something sexual it was probably something traumatic like one of his dad's hooker girlfriend molesting him as a child. Some perverted friend of his dad who like to touch little boys. Or Merle forcing pressuring or drugging him into something he didn't really want. Merle idea of helping is pretty much abuse. Daryl in those two episode STILL and ALONE proved he's the type of soul that seeks emotional connection in order to feel comfortable enough to explore physical pleasure and Beth's the same, personality wise there complete opposite but emotionally/spiritually there the same. They seek deeper connects to evolve intimately, they both established there not there siblings Daryl isn't Merle and Beth isn't Maggie there not a free with there bodies cause there different people. Daryl wouldn't initiate physical contact with other characters not until after his character development with Beth he huge Carol and puts his head on her shoulder when they reunite. When other character like Carol or Rick try to touch Daryl they always did cautiously like approaching a wild animal. Beth bulldozes over his boundaries and his force field. She see's who he is she knows him and trusts him implicitly. she has since the day he held Judith, none of his defence mechanism work on her. All his grunts, shrugs, snarls and glares. didn’t deter her, he was baffled 😮and intoxicated🥴🤒just by her existence,the beauty and hope she Represented.He was completely mystified😵💫by her. Beth and Daryl are Beauty and the Beast a tale as old as time when you fall in love in the most unexpected of ways and when you least expect it. The scene on the funeral home where she sings to him and he told her to keep playing. was pretty similar to Belle reading to Beast and him asking to read again, with beast having the same struggle as Daryl being cursed he never got the chance to mentally develop properly, hence why all the tantrums and angry outburst. They were as close to a fairytale as walking dead was ever gonna get. They were Rapunzel and Flynn AT LAST I SEE THE LIGHT. 🎇 The story of them in the woods was pretty identical she was doe eyes bright hopeful positive light 💡 that kept pulling him out of the darkness and pushing him forward. And he was the criminal with the shameful past exciting without purpose. Who took her from her tower and showed her she was strong and capable all along.🥺
Oh my god, how did I not notice that Daryl started crying because he saw that little wooden shack/barn and it reminded him of Beth and the time they spent in that small house! Genius!

Issy Johnson same here my best friend Kayla Marie wright committed suicide after Valentine's day in 2011 and she loved singing like Beth did so I can relate to Daryl's pain
I still cry over this years later. Daryl ran after Beth through the night. The only reason he stopped was because he came upon a crossroad. I believe if Daryl knew which way the car went, he would have kept running after Beth even though he was exhausted.
Beth changed Daryl so much. i wish we could have them after grady and grow into a real couple. Daryl would been shy about the realtionship at first but once everyone got use to the idea they would have been the best couple in the walking dead
I don't care what anyone else says. He fell in love with her. Her innocence Everything he fights for even to this day! She changed him helped him feel human again. He was in love with her they had a chemistry. Now that's she gone for awhile it felt like his humanity died with her. But now he fights for the innocent people who remind him of her. She will always been with him. I do wish she is mentioned in the newest season. Like shes not forgotten💔

What's messed up, is that,Daryl blames himself for so much of what happens to the group... Esp to that family. He blames himself for Beth and Glen, And I'm betting that he also blames himself for Herchel's death as well... They should of played that up in the mid season ending (S7)
He absolutely blames himself... Daryl admitted to being responsible for Hershel's death while he was angrily "teaching" Beth to shoot his crossbow shortly after their game of I'VE NEVER.

I'm crying so hard right now! When I was watching this the first time I didn't realize how bad it had hit Daryl when Beth got taken. I knew when Beth was going to die so I knew he found her again before she died (thanks to being a few seasons behind) but watching this it hurts, you can tell Daryl loved her, and he was supposed to protect her and he didn't. His eyes, I can't get over how they looked when he lost her!
I honestly think that Daryl was in love with Beth. He's just so lost without her. He's been distant and quiet and angrier since her death. He just doesn't understand why it had to happen. I just wish they could've been a thing before she died
I Cried for the First Time in 6 Years when Beth Died. I then Realized that, Crying isn't being Weak...It's being Strong for too Long. There was soooo much more Character Development in Beth, and a Long Story to tell. Total Waste of persons Life. They shouldn't have Killed her off to make more "Suspense" in the Show.

Yeah, I think the scene where he said they were going to stay there for a while and Beth asked him what changed his mind about the people who probably lived there was kind of a turning point. The way he looked at her ... Jesus Christ. You could see right in his soul that he was thinking "You!" but maybe at this point he did not dare to tell her. I definitely think if they had stayed there they would have gotten pretty close to a romantic relationship. Very very slow and shy, but I'm sure we would have got there 😭

You notice none of the other characters were with Darryl and Beth through their journey? ( After the group split) Yet they all seemed to know how special she was to him. That's because Daryl cried and showed emotion, which he only does very rarely. They really could have taken this in a different direction.I really thought they were gonna become a couple.But of course... the writers had to go off and ruin everything again.😢 Beth pulled a different side of daryl out that we hadn't seen before. He was vulnerable with her and was able to trust her in ways.He only trusted very few. He was so happy when he found out where she was only for her to be killed right in front of him. I still get mad when I think about how they did him wrong with this situation. His character has always been my favorite and he deserved a little bit of happiness.
