You have to take off the top dashboard with that removed you can access the safety bar holding the airbag plate in place but you will damage it when pulled on. You have to remove more than that to remove for painting or resurfacing. Any way watch more videos for more investigative work. I damaged mine but it’s held nicely with some thin industrial strength double sided tape. Good of luck God bless all your journeys.
Should have included in the description or video CANT DO THIS WITH AIRBAG PANEL! I fuked mine up with your pulling on $hit method! There are dash screws underneath the panels closest to the glove box. Just saying. Other than that good video for my drivers side. 😝
