Shoot, this is GREAT. My last Willy's was on WAYWO- I'm lining up another project even now. But instead of oak, this one I'm thinking to do a stock looking interior. I've been looking for an example of how to do this, being as I never have. THANKS! Again haha.
If I did one of these Willies, I would use a Turbo 350 to a 205-transfer case because I don't like clutch vehicles. The engine would be a Chev 383 Stroker which I am using now in one of trucks.
That is going to be one uncomfortable interior. No sound control. No heat shielding. Carpet bolted to the floor transferring all sorts of noise. Like riding in an empty 55 gallon drum.
@@LukeEdward yeah but carcass isn't building a street driven vehicle. They made what's looking like a track car with the Trailblazer. Stacey did build something you wouldn't be scared to drive.
Yea man but Willys owners know that comes with the territory and we do not care. I drive mine everywhere with the road noise, wind noise and all the creaks, squeak and rattles. Still a blast to drive and I wouldnt have it any other way.
@@Terk131 but if you could eliminate some of the noise and make it a bit more civilized then why not do it? Especially when you have the whole thing ripped apart?
