This device is attached to the windscreen where the temperature would be super high in the summer. I'm wondering that this device is still able to work in that situation.

It should work, the only thing that might need a change is the sticking tape. You might have to reinforce it with an additional double sided tape. This device comes with warranty so you can return it if it stops working

I'm returning this as android auto is absolutely hot trash. It stays connected for all of 5 seconds. If factory reset the device. Uninstalled android auto on my phone and reinstalled to newest version. Still crashes. Other than that the device is great and quick. The delay in phone calls tho is horrendous. The first few mins it's good. After 30 mins there's a 10 second delay in conversion

Not necessary, you can control with the knob controls or better is to get a BT air mouse keyboard remote to operate the device, that will be much better

Why on Earth would you want Netflix or You Tube and similar whilst you’re driving? It’s a recipe for disaster! There’s enough distractions in modern day cars without watching movies. I live in the UK and this would almost certainly be illegal. If you were in an accident the defence would insist you were distracted whilst driving. Also, I like a dash cam that has a rear camera as well! Whilst this unit looks good to be able to wirelessly connect to Apple CarPlay, with movies etc playing how do you use the built in sat nav, music and so on?

Totally agree, thats why I had put a warning. People do like to watch these apps or video content when parked, or for co-passengers. You have so many other powerful functions like wireless carplay, androidauto, navigation, music apps, waze, skype, zoom etc. I found it a very useful device.
