@@НиколайБеляков-ш2л And you're being pedantic. He's german, and road fatalities are 10 times higher in Russia compared with germany, and that's taking into account population difference too. So to him, yes it's pretty horrible. You're probably used to the carnage.
@@НиколайБеляков-ш2л Actually you are. He made a joke, and you treated it like an insult and called him norrow-minded. I then called you out for being pedantic and not realising it was a joke and attacked your pendantism with actual facts. So you lose twice. Once for not realising he was joking, and again when confronted with actual facts for trying to be smug and failing. You're not as clever as you think you are.
@@Inimbrium most foreiners, commenting russian road incidents seem to seriuosly assume that driving in Russia is so very dangerous. They dont seem to be joking. Me, I've been driving for 2 years in Russia, yet never captured a single minor accident on my cam)))
Russians dont have roads, they have holes surrounded with little asphalt. When they buy tires, they buy them to last longer not thinking, that giving maybe 10-15% more money for better tire might save their lives. They dont know how to drive, becuase a lot of people simply bought their driver licences, due to high corruption. They do not care about their own lives, let alone about other people, you can conclude that, simply by watching these videos, and seeing what mistakes they do, when accidents occur. Mostly, because of overspeeding. And mostly on wet and icy roads.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-415Hj94w564.html He was American through the intersection when he should have been Trump on the brakes.
Snow on ground and little visibility is all you need to speed up and give us great video. Few cars were lucky to come out unscathed, I think even passengers were surprised did we just survive that.
Ghoopty right idea - there are some super people who work harder than average American or even German - they die at maximum 50 because they want this country exist (
I wouldn’t say better, but if Russians could “lay off the sauce”, maybe you wouldn’t be taking your life in your hands every time you get behind the wheel there. Based on these videos, I would NEVER drive in Russia.
And it's not just regular drivers that are poor drivers in Russia- it's bus drivers, semi truck drivers and taxi drivers that are doing 70 mph on an icy road in the middle of a city!
I've watched several of these Russian car crash vids, and the things they all have in common (common to drivers all over the world) are 1) they're driving TOO fast for the weather conditions, 2) they're impatient and don't want to wait when traffic slows down in front of them and immediately move to pass, even on 2 lane roads 3) they don't look when changing lanes, pulling out of parking lots, or turning left in an intersection when their view is blocked by other traffic (they ASSume no one is coming in the far lane), 4) they drive on the shoulder.
I used to live in an Oregon town called Corvallis. It was full of bicycle riders who drove the same as Russians. They generally got themselves hurt, unless you happened to be on foot, then you were fair game. I moved out of there. Best decision I ever made.
Best Beer well, we refused to pay and they did not teach my wife . Well, at least I have a license (was a pupil when they studied us without payment as a state school programm ). The problem is many idiots agree to bribes. That’s why schools behave like they always want bribes
I find it interesting that sometimes they have American music on their radio (this time, The Doors). Do they just like the sound, or do they speak some English?
Random crossroads/junctions with no signage or right of way notification...there can only be one outcome especially if it involves a litre of vodka and a lada
Many survivors of terrible accidents end up with Amnesia of the accident. I think they're the lucky ones. In Australia we have compulsory 3rd Party Insurance. Covers the cost of any damage to any person or property apart from yourself. You'd need that in Russia. Anyway apart from the carnage the scenery was very interesting.
I called locksmith just to have my car keys cut since I have the original and the uncut is already programmed, he gave me an estimate of 150 dollars, when I said it is too much he replied in a thick Russian accent “ it is what it is”. 🥴🥴
