I’m nervous about this hurricane it’s coming out of the Gulf of Mexico and then it’s gonna go from a category one to a category three within a few minutes. I hope we don’t lose electricity.

I’m in southeast Alabama 15 minutes from the Florida state line. We are battening down the hatches waiting for Helene. I ordered several gallons of water and other non perishables from Walmart delivery today and while thinking of you I doubled the suggested tip. I really admire you. I’m a retired special education teacher and I saw your video of your day at home. I worked with many children who were on the spectrum and I understand to a small degree what things are like for you, but I only had my students for the school day. Yet you always keep your sense of humor and your children obviously adore you. Stay safe, MM.

Get on the phone and call his doctor and see if they will prescribe some meds that will keep him calm during the bad weather. I know you don't want to sedate him but if he is anxious and agitated during storms maybe it will keep you and Potato safe. And him too. You have probably already tried this, but if what ever you tried in the past or present didn't work, get something different and give it to him at the first sight of clouds.

Hi MM, I'm disabled and rely on breathing machines to live, I've recently learned that my county has an application you can fill out for the hurricane season for ppl needing power and ac and was approved so I was thinking maybe if you check your county they could do that for your son and you and potato could go with him. At my post office, they give out the cards when all the lockers are full. People don't bother to pick up their packages and tie up all the lockers.

Do you have rescue meds for him? We use them for storms and when there is no power/ internet etc. I was very hesitant to use them but it got to a point where I had to and they are a lifesaver. They help him too because he’s not so scared. It calms him down. 🙏🙏

Hey mama! It’s Kevin on the East Coast, I just wanted to tell you be very careful with this storm because you’re on the Tampa side and I am on the other side and I’m still getting hurricane warnings on my iPhone and my TV constantly so hunker down don’t be out doing deliveries because it’s too dangerous Try not to stress and be safe, I haven’t been doing Uber eats very much because I went in for an oil change and they told me my brakes needed to be replaced. My brakes were bad that was $500 then brake fluid flush was 200. It’s just too costly with maintenance doing Uber eats anymore. I’m looking for W-2 job, but I’ll still do it every once in a while on my way if I’m running an errand or something, I’ll turn on the APP

Praying alot for u. Uughz! Im 55 yrs old and still HATE thunder storms every since i was a lil kid. I never sleep during them. I turn on ALL the lights in my house to camouflage the lightening strikes, cuz they make my anxiety go crazy.😩 So i totally get it with ur son. Hope things overall get better for u and the kiddos. the sad thing is we used to live in that area and it's called the thunderstorm capital of the world the in Tampa Saint Pete to Orlando area, wish you could move your family away from all the thunderstorms, my heart breaks for what you deal with when your son reacts negatively to storms and no internet, hugs and prayers, I pray the Lord helps your sone get through the storm without anyone getting hurt, you could use a solar generator which is safe for indoors for cooking and a hot plate to plug in your room in these emergencies to cook some food and a mini fridge, God bless you all

But I’m also very tired as I was already asleep and was rather rudely awoken first after 20 minutes of sleep, and then after another 90. And that was like four hours ago. I'm in MO and I avoid popeyes like they're a plague.. The employees do not care. Half the time they're closed early with zero warning and or they maybe have half of the items for the given order. It's nearly midnight, I just let an offer of $24 for Popeyes go bc they may or may not be open. Google says they're open yet I've been to that location. One just never knows. I agree with your husband, popeyes is crap. As far Uber eats is concerned.

we deal with the same post office issue, they do not put our packages in a locker for us, and we have to find a time to go in and then sometimes they can't find our packages

The lockers are all taken that's why. People don't go everyday to check their box so the lockers are taken for days. They don't want to yellow slip you unless they have to.

It’s only so many lockers. They will choose customers that normally pick up daily knowing locker will be available later. They also choose customers that call and ask to put in locker or have more than one that will fit. Think of like this could be (random number)1000-4000 P.O. Boxes and 500 packages that day.

I agree with you regarding UEats. Their algo changed about 3 weeks ago. Most offers have been 'backward' offers, & untakeable! I can be online with UEats for hours over the last 3 weeks, & receive maybe 1-2 pings. Which are usually backward offers!

I'm in one of the biggest markets in the country and Door Dash has just died. At lunch and dinner the map used to turn some shade of pink or red. Now even on a Saturday night it's just gray. My post office told me I’d only get a locker if one was available when they were putting out the mail. They fill them up first then hand out cards.

If there is a lot of thunder and the power goes out are you able to give him Hydroxyzine? I have a child that is on antidepressants, a mood stabilizer, and antipsychotics. If she has an episode that causes her anxiety, I give her Hydroxyzine because it can be used to calm a person down. If the dose is high enough it will even put her to sleep. It’s not habit forming if used as a PRN.

I hope this question is not too intrusive. Can Aiden not be heavily medicated for situations like this with hurricanes and heavy storms?
