Nesting, growth! Would love to see the skin system altered, because it promotes kosers to bully the people who wanna collect skins and play more natural. The grind for skins is ok, but losing 50% of the marks after death is not
Wow, this is all really cool and a great step forward to support community engagement as well as content creators. Super excited to see this all in game!
I'm loving the attention this game is getting so far. My biggest gripe is that while the skin system has increased in price, all of the most profitable activities to unlock those skins are pretty boring. Usually stuff like collecting acorns and things like that. It would be great if more activities gave you passive marks as more of an incentive to play the game, such as hunting another player, finding a rare food source, etc.
I think the reason hunting quests aren't more diverse is probably because they have to tie it to different dinos. Like if you're a conca you probably wouldn't want a "hunt a stego" quest. I think it could be good for group quests though since you can work together to do it. I assume they'll add more though since they have "hunt a struthi" quest already but probably have to to tie all the quests depending on size of dino vs dino.
Actually, no, I don't think this is a good idea. Why? I have a hunting quest, but trying to find a specific dinosaur player in these enormous maps is a lesson in futility. Variations on gathering or locating things is all you can really do without PvE AI or something else to fill the world out.
@Jonathan Frenette I assume you'd have to join a server with permanent adult dinos rather than play an official no rules server. I know once it's all up and going I'll probably be playing a semi realism/rules server rather than official servers. (Since you lose marks I'd rather not deal with kosers at all anymore).
I love how PoT starts go go a completely different Path (hehe path) from now on instead of just being an isle clone. I enjoy both games and see them becoming unique enough to maybe even not be competetors one day, with PoT having this quest system to make your dino stronger with abilities and to grow as a baby so you actually have an objective again.
The problem with that is that they are based off reptiles and most reptiles past a certain size sound the same and most (crocs and gators) don’t have vocal cords so it’s hard to actually imagine what Dinos sound like
@@winstonlewis5630 still, some creative liberties would be nice, the isle despite all its flaws made every dino sound different meaning you can pick one out in a crowd or in the dead of night and know what’s around you, in this game it’s kinda impossible
I called it! I knew Daspletosaurus was going to to come out! My theory has been proven. Still it’s still awesome that it came out, can’t want to start hunting things as a Daspletosaurus.
You can tell the development team has put their hearts and souls into this game. Thank you guys so much. There are amazing things in the works for Path of Titans and I am totally here for it.
I can see that game is still alive. Unfortunately I can't play it because on my phone it runs like anyklosaurus with broken limbs and my PC literally belongs to mesozoic era.
OMG, replay tool, creator mode... THANK YOU !! To make great videos for us, and great ads for you, just perfect ! I had so many video projects with the replay mode on the isle, impossible to achieve for a long time. I will finally be able to do them on a game created by much nicer developers ! I love you !
i like in this video (and in the game ofc) the vibe that the bite animation gives, you can tell that a daspleto uses that to finish its prey, since its a tyrannosaurid its probably a finisher most of the time and i like how the animation's movement sort of shows that
Good stuff. As a video advertising the game... Ya'll really need to work on the "connecting" animations in combat, biting should result in a gush of blood and maybe creating some floppy flesh hanging from the predator's lower teeth, something indicating "That bite was a success." Unlike the air-misses. Currently, that makes it look VERY unfinished. Extremely looking forward to the growth system though! Absolutely love the ability slot idea, for customizing the parts of your dino and what you want to specialize in. Every player loves customizing, making yourself more unique than just a vanilla-clone freshly spawned dino. Also, BIG kudos for Creator Mode, not enough games offer this. I have loved that ever since the original Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption video game, which let an admin be the "storyteller/dungeonmaster" able to spawn things, NPC's, craft stories and making "enemy areas," so forth. I love being able to make even more immersive, active environments for players. Being able to decorate with rocks/vegetation/bigger props to create custom mini-areas is fantastic! And if you ever add more AI dinosaurs (please do this, too). We want a realistic, living world, and all of this is necessary to make it happen.

I cannot wait to run my own POT server! I def see how I can create a server for everyone. One area with a safe haven for players to hang out in, and the rest being wilds. :D So hyped!
Okayy I'm really really hipped now !! Baby mode looks so much better and natural ! The creative mod is such an amazing idea, if you have a good PC I guess... and the new dinosaur and cinematic option looks soooo realistic ! I mean, this game looks so much to reality ! It's insane ! Hope I can play it normally soon, because I was so laggy on the game that I cannot played and I had to wait like 30 minutes to turn up the game. :( Hope it's fixed.
I bought the group pack way long ago and this is the video I've been waiting for. I literally cannot wait for growth as me and the friends I got it for really want that to be on the server we choose. Thank you for showing us stuff related to growth, going to say I'm not the only one who went "yasssss"

Daspletosaurus T & Daspletosaurus H are one of my favorite species of Tyrannosaurs AKA Tyrant Dinosaurs. As much as it’s cousin T.Rex AKA Tyrannosaurus Rex is my #1 favorite Tyrant Dinosaur.
In my opinion this game is 100 more ways better than the isle ( i still play the isle btw ) its way more fun to actully play ( i didint played it yet but i have seen gameplays + trailers etc ) aswell is the spino SO beautifull aswell for the skins + the world we can play in aswell that this game has quests is in it is a huge + thing to me so u wont get bored esaily ^^ Im rlly looking forward for this game in the furture wehn i buy it!
All these updates look so cool and unique and the dinosaurs look so realistic and accurate its amazing as a lover of dinosaurs I'm happy this exists but also sad because I can't play it I only own a PS4

Question: will being a baby be a choice or like some servers have just elder dinosaurs if the creators want? To be honest, seeing the current state of the community, I don’t think automatic growth is gonna make this game any better in communal terms.
I'm glad I supported the game, and like what I see, but sincerely, priority I feel needs to be put on some sort of mechanism for the player to smell or detect the nearest food source. For a lot of players this is still a starvation simulator.
Still need to fix size dinosaurs dmg cuz I can kill a dasp with a campto without taking any dmg or just cuz I survive to one of his bit since carnivores doesn’t have teeth and they bite doesn’t do bleed 😂
