GroupLens Research provides a number of collections of movie ratings data collected from users of MovieLens in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The data provide movie ratings, movie metadata (genres and year), and demographic data about the users (age, zip code, gender identification, and occupation).

there was a code error after defining rating_std_by_title. In the code where we filter rating_std_by_title by active_titles, the variable name that we set has an extra "s" as in "ratings_std_by_title" instead of "rating_std_by_title".

Amazing video as always. Just bouncing off an idea at 13:32 we can make use pd.DataFrame right? Something like this? print(pd.DataFrame(active_titles).iloc[:20]) What would be your thoughts on this?

Could you explain if the same dataset is .dat file. how to import the dataset

You can follow the first few lines of code with a dat file to see how the file is structured. You can also try using pd.read_fwf() which reads fixed-width formats.
