In my case, the getter inside the template runs on every change detection (same as an impure pipe). The (mousemove) event binding has the same effect when used with the getter. So why is an impure pipe worse than a getter? Often times my getter runs even more times than an impure pipe on each keystroke. Is it simply because the getter is a less intensive function than the pipe's 'transform' function?
