You could also use an alternate key to assist with changing a primary key, right? Say the username is the primary key and someone wants to update it. If both the username and the email are required to be stored and unique, it would work no?

So whats the difference between a superkey and primary key?

I know this is over a year old, but if you have watched from ep 1, he talked about modeling a DB. conceptual(first draft), logical(rewrite), and physical(final copy). Superkey would be conceptual key. As it not fully defined yet(first draft of your DB). CK would be at logical because you are actually starting to dig in and see what is actually needed and how to model it. (rewrite, working out how everything works together, and fixing any errors)PK would be physical as in the one you actually are using to implement in the database. (final copy, of actually creating said DB) Celeb kinda skimmed over this a bit, but not in the same way in video 23 when he starts talking about CK. Again.. Yes year old, you probably(hopefully) figured it out!
