Known the two boys since they were little at our music classes. They’ve stayed true to who they are as humans all through the years. Never fails to greet someone with a big smile and say hi no matter how much time has passed. That’s what matters at the end of the day. :)
Wow !!!! The comments! Chillz bros ! This is just a show with 4 lovely people I must say. I enjoyed the show ! Why so much hate ! Pure jealousy I see !!!! The 2 ladies are gorgeous. God bless this lovely family !
So sad to see all this hatred comments of people, just wanted to give a piece of my mind. Put jealousy, n hatred away from ur lives, then one day perhaps even u wil be featured in a show like this. Think n be positive and spread love, thats wat these 4 individuals do in their lives. They r just 4 individuals who know how to love and respect people, and thats whats brought them this far. If u cant stand it, dont watch it! Avoid the criticism. Let others grow! And Ranshan, Dani, Shehan & Ashi, this episode was entertaining, kept me laughing. God bless u guys, and wishing u well for a smooth and peaceful delivery 😊😊❤️
Laughter they say is the best medicine. It was hilarious from beginning to the very end and a blast. It's encouraging to see the younger generation moving forward.
I like watching happy people & bubbly faces. In a world full of jealousy & hatred, it’s nice to watch people like this. Lucky parents they must have to have their children & in laws so united. Happy show it was ❤️ Stop the negative comments & enjoy the show 😊
Exactly! I don't understand why they making it such a big deal. I just saw 2 cute couples being very honest about their lifestyle. Whether they are spoilt or Bratz how do I know? And it's just not my concern. And if I my father also had that kinda money I would be like this. Should they not spend it cause it's their "father's" and not theirs. So much hatred for no reason
It was a fun show with lot of laughs! In the show it would have been nice to have had a little introduction of them as well. All in all loved the fact how supporrive and united the families are.
Oh man! The comments here are golden! its an entertainment channel folks. the fact that everyone is commenting here just goes to show that this episode was indeed a success. Also Whats a guy got to do to get this kind of engagement on a video? 😋 @ranshan gomez care to come on an interview on our channel?
Enjoyed the show alot. Love ashi akki and her vlogs. Been following them for more than three years. Though i got to know the others through her. all of them are really sweet. I love how their family are sooo knit together. Specially whenever they go on trips and sing praise and worship songs💜. love them
Great show Ashi, Ranshan, Danii & Shehan. As always you guys exemplify being United as a family unit, your general generous, helpful & cheerful natures and this show allows the wider public to get a glimpse into that. Thank you Danu for hosting some great people on your show.
@@daniisvendsen Saw some good and bad comments. Just have compassion about people who try to hurt. It means you guys achieved something others have not achieved. Always remember, “if someone is jealous or angry, they need help. We must be compassionate about them” Be happy all the time. I love every person’s uniqueness. I wish for a beautiful baby. Be happy! There is no path to happiness. Happiness is the path. Meththa!!!
Danu I think you should do an interview with Mmaureen Hingert, who placed 3rd in Miss Universe (highest achievement of Sri Lankan pageant history) and later became an Hollywood actress. We don't even know what happened to her. She deserves recognition from us, even after many years.
I was waiting for this episode 😍 Damn, what a show! 👏👏 you guys are so kind-hearted and very humble ♥️ I’m huge fan of you guys. Even i love to watch your vlogs asherah akki 😍 sending lots of love and prayers to the beautiful mammas and be happy as always guys ♥️ God bless you all!
I Usualy watch Danus interviews, all his interviews are in good levels as this episod tooo 🤙loved this episod there was so much of love, laugh and fun. Why do people missunderstand this platform youtube is a platform where anyone can watch anything that they want and also can skip anything that they dont want.. why making a big fuss?? If you dont wanna watch ok dont watch its you own right cuz no one comes here and push or force anyone to do so 😐😐😐. With all that being rude to another person is very bad even cant imagine why some people do commnet hash.. what do they expect from that??? Or else what the commiunity expects? Is it someone come on screen and tell how bad he or she was in the past and now see i have come to this level??? Maybe they are sons and daughters of rich people in Sri Lanka but why being rude to them in commnets. This show is all about talking about a life style or a pattern of a person. The person might be a anyone that is the mode of the show. If the ones that who are on the show suits you go watch the show, if they dont suit you dont watch the show 😐😐😐 without any problem just skip it if you dont like 😂😂 even dont try to spend your Data on this if you dont want. By the way May God bless the 2 ladies who gonna have the best thing in their life ❤🤙
Lol I can't help but agreeing on the flirt part with Ranshan.. lol! Such a gentlemanish gesture that probably get misinterpreted.... but congratulations to both the beautiful couples on your new chapter in life... and 😍
This was like most Danu shows. However it is the first time I have seen the guests of the show interact with negative comments in the comment section. Wonder why these personalities are spending so much time trying to justify their appearance? Lots of other guests of Danu have also gotten negative comments, never seen anyone else so rattled and involved in the comment section.
Talk shows are becoming more and more competitive and having good comments sections now a must. I have seen even foreign celebs interact with comments. I agree they shouldn't go after negative comments too much, unless they have something very specific to clarify. Thanking for nice comments is perfectly normal and a very healthy way to maintain their fan bases. Not only them even people who watch these shows sacrifice their time to comment, so expecting a reply is reasonable. There are many Danu's shows with with very low number of comments, which means viewers don't care those guests. Here they've got 100+ comments (good or bad) as completely new people. It doesn't take much time to comment.
@Upendri Gunasekara All they are doing is stimulating and building up their fan bases. They are not immature, they are businessmen. If there weren't their comments this would have been another dull video with 10-20 comments nobody cares. Just check some of Danu's other videos with so called famous people. How many comments they 've got ? I cannot believe you put your self down, by campaigning for celebs to not to comment in the comments section. This is because, the flip-side of your argument is OK we as stupid viewers are obligated to comment on their nonsense and we are not worthy to get replies from them. A classic slave mentality. Now this concept of real life celebrities is very famous, which means you act naturally closely with your fans. This could be a new concept to us as when it comes to Sri Lanka, most of our so called celebs are super arrogent idiots, so I wouldn't supprise even if they don't interact like these guys. But I've seen many foriegn celebs do so. It's so fun. Ranjan is probably the biggest star (esp with this politics) in Sri Lanka replies to most of the comments, even for those who bash him. Remember the stars broke the wall holding the genuinity back from stardom always became the most loved onces.
@Upendri Gunasekara We actually enjoy interacting with commentary, both good and bad because we are approachable individuals. Like someone else said on this thread, when you write a comment it’s only natural to expect a reply 🤷🏼♀️ Just because we are responding and interacting doesn’t mean that we are ‘headless chickens’, prude or ignorant - we just genuinely enjoy with interacting with what people have to say. We can digest criticism and most of all, appreciate it ❤️😉
@Upendri Gunasekara if a stranger comes and does something negative to anther person and this person reacts it does not mean they are guilty of something. Even the biggest celebrities in the world have replied on negative comments. There's absolutely nothing wrong in it and it does not make them guilty in any way. It just makes them human.
Completely agree with Harsha and Radika. Responding and being personal is great. I thought this show was fun and the personalities were fun until I read the comments. There is nothing wrong in responding to the negative comments, but when I read that one of personalities was threatening to expose their troll saying things like “we know you follow us on social media” and something about sending a resume... it veered on the side of childishness. One of them, I think her name is Asherah in fact did a great job in responding to the comments all the while maintaining a mature approach. I think interacting with negative comments is fine as long as the personality or celebrity doesn’t stoop to the level of attacks and exposure. The fun feeling I had when I watched the show completely went away when I read them attacking their trolls. Just ignore or say something neutral.
I know them in waters edge when I was working hotel in 2008 they are so play boys and girls that time I was happy to see now they settled grow up all the best
I am just so curious about who these people are really. I have watched so many Date with Danu episodes and I always knew who was who even though I don't live in Lanka. But I'm seriously curious can someone please let me know? I even googled their names and couldn't find anything except Instagram accounts. Just out of curiosity.. TIA :)
Now isn't that a lie? All the names have several results on Google. I just checked it. One is a monetized RU-vidr so how could you not know that? One is famous model. The two guys are businessmen. They have their own companies as well. And I found all of these through Google.
@@radhikakanwar6351 sincerely sorry. I was the least bothered and wasn't jobless to be searching them on google. As Ashcharya, mentions, previously we never have to search people to get a better feel of the guests. To my next point, you are definitely someone paid by these individuals to comment or to make things even worse, you are bored and has zero productivity on a daily basis. You have pretty much commented under every single comment. As the saying goes, " idle hands are the devil's work shop".
@@lisaconrad9235 Also its common decency to find out about something if you don't know. These guys are famous influencers. And just cause YOU don't know about it doesn't make them any less famous. And make sure if you state something it doesn't contradict with another comment of yours. If I'm getting paid from these guys how can I be jobless? But if it makes you happy let's say I am jobless. I find great pleasure in replying to rude comments of other jobless people. 😘
Danu, I really enjoy your show. You are doing a great job! It’s good if you could give a brief introduction of your guests to the viewers if the guest is not well known by everyone. Many don’t know who are the guests in this show and what makes them special to be invited for the show. I usually read comments on episodes however this is the first time I see the guests being offended and replying with to the negative comments ( Danni and Ranshan). Seems they cant handle negative comments. They should stop featuring in public shows like these if they can’t handle negative comments. It’s funny to see how immature they are as their comments and replies shows off that very well.
So what's the connection between the guests that are invited and being a luxury brand/channel? Some guests that showed up had anything but luxury lives. 😂😂
@@dilrukshigerath5349 I'm not sure if you understood what I said or if you understand what you are saying. But let me enlighten you if possible. Like you said some guests only had luxury lives, that's exactly what Hi is all about. It's about that luxury lifestyles. If you haven't connected the dots these guys have that luxury lifestyle and are popular amongst that circle. Take a Hi magazine or check the website and read if you still don't understand
Sorry Danu this ain’t it. What exactly have these two couples achieved other than being kids of super rich parents boasting about their super rich lives on social media. Find someone worth interviewing and people whose views are worth listening to in the future. Ps- As an interviewer you are superb and keep doing great work brother.
Precisely. You just echoed my thoughts. I love this show and I follow it religiously and I usually finish each episode having learnt something useful. With this episode however, I was honestly left wondering what exactly they bring to the table. I bet they are wonderful, kind people but I'm guessing the way the interview was structured, it just made them seem totally disconnected with reality and "rich, spoilt brats". Not my cup of tea but each to their own. Peace ✌🏼
Jeesh! Ever heard the say if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything?!?! All 4 of them are well known & respected people in Colombo. Also some of the nicest people around. And each has achieved something on their own hard work and determination, so they are great people to have on a show. If you aren’t aware of who they each individually or collectively are maybe that shows more on your presence than theirs.
@@natalieblok8275 😂😂😂 says the one who follows us all on social media and watched the entire episode. Girl, bye. Happy to send you my well rounded resume sweetie since you are so flabbergasted #jealousyistheugliesttrait.
@@daniisvendsen you are sadly mistaken my dear. 😂 I went through the comments. That's all I could handle. The RU-vid recommendation it self was puke worthy. Dont jump into conclusions too quickly. Oh... wait... I am sure your prego hormones are acting up isn't it. Cool aid? 😉 Just to clarify, I am not on any other social media, otherthan RU-vid. Geesh... so judgemental ( as per your better half) 😂😂😂
@@daniisvendsen whishful thinking on your part. 🙂. Why would anyone want to follow you'll on social media? Any apparent reason or reasons? Just to reassure, the world does not revolve around you.
Danu, I asuumed you had better taste.😩These individuals are so wannabe, latte sipping, useless Colombo fellas. I'd rather see a commoner randomly picked up from the street, than listening to these buggers. Here are some great individuals that are noteworthy and inspirational. Ms. Kasthuri chellaraja & her mother, Thumindu Dodanthenna , Peter de Almeda, Dian Gomez ,just to name a few. All well rounded and educated.
@@samdezilva8915 actually 😂 so many known personalities have come on this show, and have received negative comments, but all of them had the maturity not to comment on each comment and try to hit back. True it's upsetting to read mean things said about you irrespective of who u are and what u do, but as far as I know indifference is the most dignified way to go about worthless criticism.
