This is facts born and raised in Addis came to America when I was 16 it’s a big flexxx to grow up in Ethiopia. Ezi jeweled ain’t nothing special it actually makes you question your identity a lot.
I’m disappointed you’re dising your fellow Ethiopian girls just to get your channel a view. As a parent of US born kids, most the kids that born in states are love their culture wanna be called as Ethiopian. What entitlement you’re talking about. As firs generation I’ll say 80% of the generation love their culture and want associate with their Ethiopian roots. Please get your facts straight.
@@qalbeqalpodcast it’s sad that to hear this comment. For the rest of population, they see us as black ppl regardless whether you born here or not. We already divide so much as it is with this stupid ethnicity nonsense, now you are adding this to create more confusion. One thing I agree with you is that, just because you got your Masters it doesn’t mean you’re better than any body. If you got the opportunity to excel in your career, that should build up a better character. Unfortunately the reality is not that.
Not to insult, but those who came from Ethiopia are the one who outsmart them and destined to great jobs. Those who born in US brags and ended up being employee of Starbucks and Macdonald.
I like how you guys are logical about women but disrespecting is not acceptable. You can describe the fact with humility and respect. Also as good to say some woman rather than generalizing all women that lives in the US. I grew up in US and I love my culture and my religion and there are a lot of women out there that grew up here and still love their country and tradition. Beside that you guys are doing a good job 1 suggestion that I have is that please fix the background. It’s too dark and depressing. On the top of that you guys are wearing eyeglasses that are way too dark and is very hard to focus what you guys are saying lol 😂
People born in the western world can’t relate to the upbringing of someone who is born in Ethiopia. The cognitive dissonance is unreal. Let’s have an honest conversation instead of picking on a minority of the case!
