Sometimes we meet our true love on a new and different road. But you still stuck in the old. If the partner understands they will let you go. To find your happy. But you have to talk about it and not hide it.
I agree with you 100% Chris. If he did it once, he'll do it again. If you do it, he'll call you every name in the book, and you'll never stop hearing about it. Even if he cheated first.
Before I got married, I had a similar standard. I didn't have an issue being single. I believe in getting to know someone's as a person, then as my friend. Take time to date without having sex. Communicate effectively, and you will know, depending on the conversation if that person is ready to commit or just want to have a good time. If he's interested in committing, he will not pressure you for sex. Ensure his actions and words are saying the saying the same thing. Do not ignore the "red flags," because when we're in love, we are sometimes blind to the facts staring us in the face.
I'm also single, and i agree 💯. I can't allow cheating, there's so much more to a relationship/marriage. What does it do to you emotionally, mentally, physical health, even spiritually. I believe that women who allow this have low self worth, "having a man, no matter what he puts you through, is an accomplishment" each to their own. But a lot of women that have men like this, end up also cheating, because there's a lot lacking in that relationship, sexually and emotionally.

The flip side of this sentiment that men don't cheat for love, and accepting such behaviors, is that his respect will decrease over time for a woman who allows this, and the cheating will never end, which to me is a breeding ground for other issues to fester, such as illegitimate children, STDs etc. Just think before you give anyone -man or woman- free reign to cheat on you.
I'm a late bloomer. Just experienced a situation like this. That's how it started and how it ended. About 5 years. I only left cause he had kids. We tried living together for 6 months and I realized in month 1 that wasn't for me. Before him I never thought I'd entertain that. I just had a stronger desire for him than I did to stand on my boundaries. I never trusted him. I was miserable. I would let resentment and distance grow. I find it disrespectful, neglectful, disgusting, inconsiderate and uncaring. But I knew I didn't trust him the moment I met him. I chose him cause he was hot and exciting and full of drama and I'm a homebody
