Maya is VERY westernized or she is trying hard to be. She doesn't strike me as a traditional Filipina at all. I wonder if Gio has any second thoughts on marrying her.

This is a good-to-know baseline as a starting point. But wouldn't you agree, as is most often the case, these myth~realities are gonna depend on the particular Filipina you hook up with and her goals and expectations. I like that your presentation Did kind of a Myth Busting though.... that the normal stereotype doesn't Have to be your reality.... find the person that best matches your boundaries. Marrying up is fine for both parties. Foreign men like a more attractive partner than they may be able to get at home, women want a more financially stable partner than they may be able to get a home. The dynamic mostly works and is a win/win for both. I have dated two filipinas and married one, now divorced. I would only consider a relationship with a filipina, as they have a blend of all the qualities I look for in a woman. The key is choosing wisely!

Most of women in the world, as she comes more independent financially, the more they play hard ball with men. Attitude changes. I hate to say it but it is like a child who as you let him have more freedom, he becomes like you can never say no. Independence makes them more rebel. The reason why the western women is more challenging is because they are more empowered.

Nice vid & topic. Only thing I would say is that Gio tends to come from the perspective you should only find a Filipina by living there first. Majority of people in these channels can’t do that & want to bring a Filipina back to where they live. It’s why I tend to listen to yours & not his anymore. I hope he understands his audience a bit better over time as I like how he talks.

Im very independent woman,specially in financial situations,i value hard work too, but sometimes when the husband don’t like a wife to work or have a job outside ,it gets very frustrating for filipina specially when they dont get a support from the husband and they cannot work too at the same time because they are forbidden to work😂Thats very frustrating in life.

But even MORE true is: “don’t go off thinking reciprocity & transactionality will work out fair, equitable, & honorable.” That’s like thinking a lion won’t eat you because you wouldn’t eat him/her. Or thinking an “I owe you” can get cashed in for its intended value. We should try to be fair-of course-but you’ll get emotionally hurt if you expect fairness like you give it.

Its just funny when im rich im a wanted,high demand guy but if not rich everyone just want either avoid,being mistress or just have fun... If money matter then i dont want anything serious as i dont want to make my life a burden and working my ass out for support someone who gonna cheat on me while in ldr...
