I didn't know what I was getting myself into, and like you say, she would sometimes say something that was uncalled for, it would come out of nowhere, and I am not sure if this is a Taurean trait, or just a me trait, but when I feel attacked, I am 5 times as ruthless with my retort and I am very quick at picking up psychology, so I can be absolutely destructive with the things I say. I've been working on that now, because it just got to be too much, and I am actively working at not giving people any comebacks even when they act like assholes. Gemini here, alot of the things you said are absolute true to the T only thing different about me is I'm a little more sweet than most geminis when it comes to my opinion on things unless I really just dont like the person maybe it's the fact I'm born so close to the taurus cusp I'm not sure but I tend to be more of the mellow gemini who just loves to have a good time and talk to friends or just random people. I am a Scorpio, born on Nov 10, and my boyfriend is a Gemini, born on June 10. I came to understand that he and I were not a natural fit, but I found it romantic when he said he "learned to love me." Whenever I'm not around him, I tend to overthink, and thoughts circulate in my head, leaving me confused. This also prompts him to question how and why I think that way. There were things he couldn't understand, and there were also things I couldn't understand. All it took was a bit of communication, and this time I talked to him about being more honest next time, as I wouldn't know what he thinks if don’t communicate. He and I have been together for 10 months now, and I'm happy to say it's been smooth sailing. Half of the 10 months were a bit rough due to my tendency to overthink, plus- school kept us busy. He is not adept at texting, and I'm uncertain if he knows how to provide me with proper assurance when we are not together. Despite the problems, whenever I am around him, they all seem to disappear because I can see his true, genuine intentions. I can also see when he switches- if he’s bored, or wants to do something else. I came to accept that I am mostly the mediator, initiator, and I have no problems with that because I also learned to love him. He is like an orange cat-playful, seeking scratches, but also like a golden retriever whenever he’s happy, like: I let him do his thing, and I also try to enjoy what he likes to do. Sometimes it grows to overwhelm me because I also want him to be the initiator, and let him try to enjoy what I like (we tried this once and I immediately switched up to the thought that Id rather we do something else than him seem like to not enjoy/feel forced- this was when we went to ice skating. I love ice skating so much. But on the rink, he seemed so scared). This is why ya’ll need to try things with each other!! And discuss on the dealbreakers. Gemini stuffs may not align with my Scorpio nature, but he fascinates me, and sometimes I try to catch up to him. My only concern is that I might not be good enough for him or that I could be boring (but I will leave this thought to him as gemini’s are not the same people). We communicate, strive to be open-minded and understanding, and I hope he also relies on me sometimes. [I will update soon! On what happens the next few months/years]
