As a single 35-year-old who's moving to Vegas soon, this is promising. I'm in Seattle and the dating scene here is AWFUL...if it weren't for the apps, I'd never have a date. Men are pretty introverted and passive here. Lol
Also, in seattle, specifically, since there are so many tech bros, they think that because they make a decent paycheck, they dont have to bring anything else to the table & deserve a solid 10.
@ashismyname21 the realness of this. I've had several first/ last dates because of the bragging over money but then complaining about "gold diggers." Like, really? I make my own money. I buy my own stuff. I don't want presents, but I need presence. I feel like it's lost on so many of them. *sigh
I met my husband on an app. 21 years later, still happy together. We grew up in the same small town but would likely have never met if not for the app.
Well as a girl who has been on dating apps before….it is WAY too much work. And i thought like you! I thought the whole point was to be looking to meet my forever 🤷♀️ turns out I was WAAAAAYYYYY wrong! They’re just for hookups for the most part so I gave that up fast lol! Never ever again will I do that or actually I mean be convinced by a friend to do it lol. It was all a terrible experience haha but we can laugh about it now at least 😂
I was in 2 back to back relationships. One of them 12 yrs long & the other 5 yrs long. I’ve now been single for 2 yrs almost. It was hard @ first but NOW I wouldn’t trade it for the world lol I enjoy being single rn. I can watch Samantha March whenever I want right lol 😂& I Have no idea even how to go on a dating app anyways lol. I mean….what dating apps even exist now? It’s been that long lol 😅 😂
