Ummm I can’t say I don’t agree with Shierra cause tbh like I’m kinda happy he’s single (which is bad I know) but I’m pretty sure most of us can agree we either respect / admire Timothee in someway so (Its not like I’m some crazy fan)and also I think Tim needs some time off from dating. I mean idk no much about Tim but idk getting into one relationship after another (in my opinion)isn’t the best option but hey. Also I think they should remain friendly colleagues.
I feel like, compared to everyone else, Saoirse Ronan reacts differently to Timothée’s shyness and “subservience” and that’s why they get along so well! She doesn’t level her energy to his, nor is she being “careful” around him like most people would when interacting with his calm and soothing energy. You’ll often catch Timothée looking intently at Saoirse, *not* because he’s attracted to her, but because she is engaging, outspoken and veryyyy genuine (I love that about her sm). She’s basically like that other eccentric artsy kid in class bonding with the other shy artsy kid and then proceeds to always choose him as a partner for team projects lol.

Thank you for “normalizing” friendship between men and women! It’s not always about intimate attraction and I’ve seen way too many channels on here claim that men and women could never be friends - which makes me so sad that they put that thought in peoples heads, my guy friends are some of the best people I know and I wouldn’t want to change that relationship for the world!
I beg to differ, just slightly....people can get along VERY well and be friends, no doubt. However, what often seems to be the case is that regardless there is always goung to be that attraction on some level and it doesn't have to be romantic; it's nature. It seems as though many suppress it under specific circumstances and/or in different settings. It leads me to believe that it's totally possible, but one would have to not have some sort attraction or just have the self control to disregard it.
I don’t necessarily want them to get together in real life I just want them to be in a movie together where their characters get together and have a happy ending so I can see it happen and then I will be happy.
totally agree here! they're both very charming in their own ways, but together they really bring each other out of their respective shells. like you said, i think they have a platonic relationship built on professionalism and respect. but because they both give out that "boy/girl next door" type, people easily confuse their chemistry for something romantic, which directors like Greta Gerwig tend to capitalize on.

Well, to be honest. You have to watch more of them. That interview with emotionally quite handled by both of'em I think, and one situation have both of them means nothing compared to the other plenty of situations and experiences they have had together. What I conclude is that saoirse can handle her feelings from revealing very perfectly, and timmy is always like the shy boy kinda thing so we cannot notice difference in his expressions around her as much. But, there is this time when timmy was asked about saoirse and he answered that she is the rockstar kinda girl, he said with bright eyes. Also one other time when he was talking about the fake IDs situation. He talked about how embarrassed he was around her and how he wanted her to think he is cool. Also, that one time when he had that speech about saoirse before he purposed to her that nominee thing and then she got to throw hers. She took him with her to the speech place and said: "gotta take'em with me, timmy is my prize" she hesitated after when she realized what she had just said laughing awkwardly, and he made that brow thing happily then looked down wearing the shy giggly face. That was an intense lil' situation. There is a little affection between them that needs time to grow I believe.🌝💖

I'm not shipper at all, but between them much more than just platonic friendship, this respect and admiration they have is the start to any kind of relationship.
I definitely could've told you this. They aren't meant to be together romantically!! They have great respect for each other and love one another deeply but its a platonic relationship not meant to go any further than just being best friends.
