You seem like you really don’t care for the curated tours and instead enjoy just winging it. This one was a little of both and it turned out pretty good. I liked it. it stays light for mutch longer over there becouse of the lattitude. you`re much further north than you`re use to. further north it stays light longer in the summer and gets dark sooner in winter.

We had tickets for the Eiffel Tower at 11pm which was the only time available. Well when we got to the highest landing which is about 1/2 way up the tower, it lit up and started flickering! Lucky us!!

Awwww Jojo and Jete. If I had sons I would want them to be just like you. That said, all that music wasn't old. I am 60, I'm not old, and that was the music from when I was your age, so it isn't old! When you go back, I know you both like history, so here is your list. Inside Notre Dame as much as possible during the rebuilding, you walked right by the Tuilleries (sp), The Louvre, Le Grand Palais, Le Petit Palais, Les Invalides, Sacre Couer (bonus points for climbing the stairs up to it, I did), Rodin's home to sit on The Thinker, Vincent Van Goh's home and take the train to Versailles. I did all that in 4 days at 30 with my 66 year old mother. So it can be done!

In Europe, good beer is served lukewarm--though Paris is not known for beer. The cold, chilled stuff is mostly for Americans. Next time, try some of that famous French ice cream. That pasta, though, it really triggers me.

Did they Disneyland Paris? I just got back and it was cool. Im not a fan of Europe but I'm a fan of Disney so when I went to London for a week I had to do a Disneyland Paris trip. US Disney is 💯 times better tbh.
