Loved the video. I have those yeux paints so I may give it shot, nice technique, great look on you. Cute stories about dating...red flags are abundant, the older I get the more I see and the less I tolerate. Gym obsession is sooooo snooze fest. Leave it at the gym guys. I start to talk to them about makeup or clothes and they look at me bewildered....yeah dude..get a clue. Works both ways.

@@pinksparkle258 Hi! Hope you enjoyed your mini trip! Oh my gosh yes, I've seen that shade and both of her new releases were my biggest temptations in January. I managed to sort of recreate both shades with what I have (I used the fuchsia shade in Byredo's Syren palette for her new sparkly shade) - of course they're not totally the same but doing that helped scratch the itch a bit. So stunning though! Her photography gets me every time too! Let me know if you end up getting it and how it is! 💜✨💕

i would love a swatch party/full face of violette’s line if you’re up for it. the products that you already own i mean! that fuschia petal lip paint has been on my list as well. 🤪 for a liquid eye paint i am considering Hindash color fluid but agree Violette has some lovely colors. that recent magenta one for example! do the glitter ones remove more easily with an oil-based formula? x p.s. i’ve definitely been on a date and heard about the ex-wife 😂. so much info for a first meet lol! talking about themselves more is a flag, being flashy too.
Ooooh okay, I'm making a note of of this! I'll make sure to post more Violette Fr and Byredo videos for ya! I'd say those two brands along with Surratt and Sisley make up most of my collection. ❤ I've actually found the matte Yeux Paints remove more easily than the twinkling ones. I have to be extra diligent with my cleansing on the nights I use the twinkling paints as the glitter can spread everywhere! It really is such a budge-proof formula. Violette really gets me with her shades. I keep having to hold back on purchasing one of her blushes as I already have so many! Oh God, yes. So many red flags! @@hijennwu Beyond Beige is a classic, isn't it? I reach for it on days when I don't know what else to do on my eyes (that, or Violette's Tout Doux eye paint). Sisley does have that "vintage" sort of aspect to their packaging. I find a lot of their packaging quite lacklustre for both skincare and makeup, but for the most part, their products are absolutely beautiful. But I have to be very selective due to their higher price points. 😂 Hope you're managing to resist all the new releases coming out at the moment! ♥️
@@bornblushing don’t scold me but.. i haven’t actually tried my quad yet. 😂🙈.. i doubt you have this problem but i’m one of those who doesn’t wear their makeup (or stuff) immediately. i dunno how to explain it. i will have something and forget about it, and then later i will finally get into it and be obsessed lol. either way, i shall report back! today the morphe x ariel brush set was half off and someone i enjoy watching raved about them. i always liked the aesthetic (the light handles) but as i was getting close to checking out i noticed i wasn’t genuinely excited about them either. particularly the brand haha. i’ve slowly been getting into sonia g / indie synthetic brushes and was reminded of you and how much you love your stuff and keep an edited collection. needless to say i took a pause (and borrowed your word!) and now they’re sold out and i’m at peace. ty for the remote intervention! lol. i recognized in my spending last year that i’m susceptible to sales so trying to be cognizant of that as i shop more mindfully this year. 🤗 p.s. i wonder if luxury helps one stay more minimal/mindful bc the price helps enforce that 😂
@@hijennwu I wish I had your problem! 😂 I feel like if I took my time with new things, I wouldn't get so addicted to the rush of purchasing something new. But yes, being into luxury definitely helps control things and keep our clothing and beauty collections more minimal. I really enjoy my Sonia G brushes, but Chikuhodo has been catching my eye lately as well. I fear it might be a totally new rabbit hole, though, so I'm avoiding it for now. I am also very susceptible to sales. It's tough to resist one! I'm very weak for collecting points, though -- maybe even more than sales! Pausing before purchasing has definitely helped me this year, and I'm hoping I can hold onto that and turn it into a habit that doesn't feel so deliberate.

I could not agree more!!! 😂 Your close-ups of the makeup are looking really good - for instance when you showed how you were dabbing off the wand of the yeux paint, it was very satisfying. And those paints look so tempting! You create such exquisite looks with it. It’s so much fun to “catch up” with you! That orange chair looks stellar, by the way. ;-)

I am dead and dying about that date story! I have dated those weirdos as well haha when someone has a previous obsession that they mention awkwardly wayyy to much but my stars never aligned! Also…. How are you lining your eyes like this? Makes no sense I could never get it to look this good!

Hilarious how you made a new friend from a not-so-great date! You are brave to apply the liner on camera from the doe foot. It's a beautiful matte blue shade. Sisley Sparking Blue is the best! Love this eye look. How are the Violette FR compare to the Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex formula? Red flag: someone talking about their Exes.
Sisley's Sparkling Blue is a true favourite! I haven't tried Lisa's liquid eyeshadows, but I know Sonia recently compared those two formulas and she said that Lisa's are much easier to work with. Violette sucks me in with her colours, though. I've been wearing them a lot since returning to work in person and love how they never budge. And absolutely, talking about exes is SUCH a red flag and instant turn off! Thanks for watching. ❤️
