I agree . I have 6 adopted kids and though they all come from pretty traumatic backgrounds, they are all physically and intellectually in excellent condition. I really didn't have the courage to raise a kid with a disability, let alone 6. I also have an unreasonably large amount of pets, all coming from shelters and however when it comes to adopting animals i always pick up the most damaged and the ones nobody or the ones that have the least chances of ever being adopted. I go to the shelter every month and never leave without a new member of the family with some sort of disability or in it last years(s) of its life. I have started adopting animals long before i even thought of adopting kids but when it came to kids i didn't have the courage to choose from the more challenging ones. For a while i thought this was because i had more love for kids and therefore would not have the strength or will to endure their handicap, but now i think it is because i actually like animals more and that this unconditional love i have for them, makes it possible for me to accept any challenge. That was an awful realization, but a very honest one.

No child should live in a home where people will privately think of them as a burden, and with adopted kids we have the rare opportunity to actually make their lives better than normal kids in that way. They will have a higher chance of having parents who can afford them, and who want them.

But the argument can be made that at some point in your life, you as the parent will have to watch them get rejected by potential partners because their body isn't "normal" and that can be heartbreaking and stressful. It also means that the parent may have to pay for reconstructive surgery if the child requests it, and that can be a huge financial burden. So, while this condition is fairly mild as compared to others, lots of people would probably prefer a child without a rare condition.

Yes I agree , she is a female. This is not a case of a fully formed male deciding to transform into a girl. She might have started out as a boy in the womb but then a birth defect didn’t allow her to develop fully into a boy. By default she feels and looks like a female. It’s easier for her to have female surgery than male surgery ( a penis is difficult to construct and often is problematic in its operation)

I encourage you to watch more videos of intersex people and their experiences because most of them are severely traumatized by their experiences with surgeries as children. I don’t know if I can convince you to respect the autonomy of children and not impose your ideology onto other people. I just have a principled stance against unnecessary surgeries on children. I view circumcision and intersex surgeries as morally wrong. What if a parent cut their child’s ear to make an elf ear because they think it looks nice or because it’s part of their religion? What if a parent decided to take their baby’s appendix out because they don’t need it and it’s more likely to cause problems? What if a parent decided to change their baby boy’s penis into a vagina because they want a girl instead of a boy? That’s essentially what people who surgically change the genitals of intersex children do. They change the genitalia of the baby to match what they think the child should grow up to be instead of waiting for the child to tell us how they feel. I think we should leave children’s bodies alone until 1) it’s absolutely medically necessary, or 2) they are an adult and they want to change their own body. If you disagree, then we’ll just have to agree to disagree. But I encourage you to look at more intersex stories.

Every asexual is different and has different needs, morals, and boundaries. In my case, as an ace, I don't feel physical attraction to any one and I find physical intercourse completely disgusting. Seriously, I would rather swallow a live frog than perform oral or have it performed on me. However, I have multiple close relationships and those I'm really close to I call my brothers and sisters. But I know another ace who enjoys serial dating, but hates sex. Everyone is different and unique.
