Lil' Chenkus this song was actually impressive for its time because this was purely made with Massive VST where most dubstep is much more versatile now because of the spectrum Serum VST is capable of. This song amongst a few others is what made Excision and Datsik.

Unless otherwise stated, usually when you hear dubstep, the "artist" or "band" name is just one person. Excision, Skrillex, Datsik, etc. are all one person. Not like a group of people are playing instruments, it's just one guy putting sounds together.

Everyone here going on about the dubstep gun from Saints Row 4 and I'm just here like, I knew this song before Saints Row 4's dubstep gun was even a thing. :L That said, this track is one of my most highly rated Dubstep tracks of all time. So god damn creative and abstract. Even today, I've yet to hear anything that surpasses this.

I wouldn't say this is moombah either, moombah typically is between 80-110 and the snare is on the "a" of 1 and 3 and the "&" of 2 and 4. I would just call this electro hop since a hip hop feel was the sound Datsik was clearly going for (record scratches, vocal cuts, triplets, etc)
