I think I'm going to agree with you . There is a black one some where that is pretty tits and his engine compartment is the cleanest you have ever seen
100% correct this car is Art, I had a 1980 and loved it handling is unreal love this car! For me I would love to see a spoiler on this one, all black beauty 😍 none the less a beautiful sports car.
One of the most underrated and beautiful cars ever. And a perfect specimen and mods that make it look better than the original (which is almost never the case)
If the term clean would be represented by one car in this world, it would probably be this one. How the flares were done is beautiful and the paintjob fits them fantastically
@@ruslancheban7243 yes I can tell after watching it a couple times. I saw his reflection in the fender at one point. The car looks so perfect I thought it was digital. Beautiful car
@we up hush fool. the new stuff all looks pretty much the same. you wanna look just like everyone else you go ahead. but dont try to shame anyone else that wants some thing a lil different.... now thats some backwards thinking. now stfu son.
My '76 280ZX was my favorite car i owned. This car caught my eye, the fender flares and slotted rims really show it up. Thanks for sharing, nice video of a very cool looking car.
@@VeritatemQuaere I always thought it was a 76 but I just seen the picture and it said 79. I also thought it was an after market custom paint but I seen it on the car and driver site, mine was a two tone black on bottom Grey on top with a red pin strip in the middle of both colors. Thanks man now you peaked my interest. I had the car a couple of years until some drunk drive hit me at a stop light. Fun car, had it around 87 till maybe 90. Then a RX7 another fun car but the 280zx was my favorite.
If he could download some shots of interior and engine bay would add to the viewing. This car is drop dead art. A one of a kind. I put a non-running 78 Z back on the road, but after getting it running, I changed directions due to also having a 370. Sold it to a youngster who could see all the possibilities and joy of an older Z. Glad than happen. This video shows what can happen when you build your vision.
It's very rare that people get the fender flares right on these cars, most of the time they end up looking like a joke. This one looks superb, along with the wheels, tires, ride height and stance. It's actually refreshing to see something done so well. Really cool looking cars when done correctly. Even tinting the windows could have ruined it. Perfect.
The side windows may already have a mild tint on them although I'm not positive of that. Dark tinted windows (in my opinion) could be been a bit much on something that's perfect as is. Subtle says a lot here.@@datt5698
Absolutely stunning. I wish car manufacturers would re-release these classic bodies with modern drivetrains interiors and electronics so we could have access to these timeless car designs. Imagine a 2022 280z with this body, or a 2022 68 camaro, or modern 56 bel air, or rx7. Why don't they do it?
They have done it to an extent with the Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers. But yeah, a 2022, 280z with a Turbo charged Skyline inline 6 pushing about 500 hp would be so sweet.
Exceptionally beautiful Z! And thank you for doing flares properly instead of the lazy people that just bolt on the ugly flares (and don't even make body color) these days.
I had a '76 280z. California smog laws made it a "gross polluter" because a fubber vap on a fitting for carburetor smig line was missing. The car was fuel injected. the carburetor fitting went nowhere, it did nothing. Couldn't register the car, so isold it to a guy who drove it to Washington state. Last I heard it was still running. I should have kept it, I moved to Alabama shortly thereafter. I doubt I would have had any problem driving it there, but my wife said nope, no way...she was the boss, lol. damn I miss that car!
Simply amazing. I am a 40 year Z fan and owner. I grew up riding in the hatch of my Dads. Ive built and raced several over the years and Brother, yours is by far the most amazing automobile I have ever seen. Can you please give me the wheel and tire sizes? The video damn near made me emotional. Simply amazing work. Do you have instagram or some other form of social media that the car build was documented on? Thanks for the inspiration, Quinton
Absolutely perfect man. You making a lot of people jealous as fuck (in the best possible way) How did you get a hold of the car? how long have you owned it?
What a gorgeous car, the paint looks almost liquid-like. I served my time as a mechanic and as we were Nissan Main Dealer my boss had one of these. Absolutely amazing car.
Автору проекта огромный респект!! За этой красотой скрывается столько труда, нервов и переживаний, затрат.. Но оно того стоило!!! Невероятно гармоничная и красивая машина!!!
The father of my neighbor had a Datsun when I was a kid 35 years ago! I never thought I'd see one looking this classy. Well done to you sir and I'm not even a car guy
I keep coming back to this, I've viewed it many times now, and although you can't see close up detail this still looks fantastic to me.one of the greatest looking cars of all time.grest job guys.
Безумно красивая машина, 2 минуты слюни пускал на эту красоту. Понимаю что нереальное кол-во сил было вложено в такой шедевр, но завидую белой завистью хозяину.
Superb my friend. One of the most under rated, under valued cars of all time. Funny how a Toyota 2000gt fetches silly money (albeit a beautiful car in itself) whereas a Dastun can still be had for just a few dollars and is equally, if not better, looking. You have a gem there good buddy. Drive it hard, that's what it was designed for!
This is a spectacularly beautiful work of automotive art. I owned a 240Z many moons ago and drove it from Ontario Calif to Mammoth Mountain for an impromptu spring skiing trip. Pulled off into the desert to sleep when fatigue set in, then completed the 6-hour drive the next day, averaging 110 mph all the way. I blew past big rigs like slalom gates on that 2-lane highway 395, and the car never overheated once there or back.
Out of All the cars I've seen in 19 years..... this is by far the MARVELLOUS, beautiful, and the moooooosssstttt BADASS car ........ I LOVE YOUR BUILD MAN...♥️♥️♥️♥️ HATS OFF.... I never comment on any vids but this made me do it. Legitttt🔥
Mate, I love it! As you can see I’m a Z fan from my pic. This is hands down the best Z I have ever seen, pure perfection. Would love to see more of it! Do you have any photos?
Nice bodywork, great choice of wheels for a classic car, awesome stance, nice choice of wheel offset & perfect flared guards to cover them. a really nice unit its a 12/10 for me
nice-looking flares and great-looking ride height. that's a timeless look for a classic sports coupe. S30 Z's are fun cars- you can swap swap and swap some more without disturbing the original configurations. i've been wanting to build a stroker L28 for years- still looking for that elusive cheap LD28 crankshaft!
Nissan/"Datsun" needs to bring that body style back into production!!!! Put the new tech under the hood, and the body! But bring back that body! Not something similar, Or new with touches of the old style... They can use new materials and what ever they want.. But those lines are classic!!!
@@nickbutter9270 Yeah! Looks close. But not the original. Nissan would make a killing if they brought back this body. Even the 510 with a widebody would be nice to see!!
@@puffy514 Yep in total agreement on this end. They would make a bundle. I'd even by stock market shares of the company if they did. And I've seen the potential of the 510. The show JDM Legends did a build of a 510 and it turned out great.
this video just made me realise what my new dream car is. i saw this car online and i saw how cool it was and digging around to see if its a viable car and finding this video just made me realise that this is exactly what i want. thank you for that
Mine was Gold on Gold Enkies ...God knows...I loved My Boo...So easy to work on..Fast ass...Eff you .see.kay..They intentionally don't make cars like this anymore...
Gorgeous Z! Massive kudos to whomever did the prep and paint. Would love to see a follow up vid without the music, just the sweet sound of that little 6!
umm no, beautiful car for sure but adding fender flares and rims and paint doesn't make you an artist it makes you an excellent Body Man at best. The original designer from the 70s was an artist, a brilliant Japanese automotive designer with artistic flare.
@@cashisking4691 Easily damaged in a collision. When they were part of the new car population, I knew quite a number of people killed or badly injured in them, while the other drivers were unharmed (and the other cars, for the most part). One survivor driving a Z (whom I knew for years) had lifetime spine and facial injuries. His opinion was the underside of the body metal said Budweiser on it.
Love it in that Colour But it would Look Even More WOW in Pearl Pacific Blue looks Purple at Night . My First Rs Was This Colour Girls Love it.... Still this is a stunner and the man whom painted it is Legend ..
Never been the biggest Z fan but this is beautiful. On top of the new Z having a old school styling, I might have to trade my new car in and get the new Z
