Daughter surprises her dad with news she found his biological father after he searched for 66 years 

The change from a man who looked tired and fed-up with life, to someone filled with joy . . . well, that's a miracle!

I made it a mission to find my dad when I was 38 years old. I finally found him and got to spend a day with him. It was the only time I ever got to meet him as he died less than a month later, but that one meal I got to have with him will never be forgotten. I love you Dad. Wish we could have spent more time together.

I've never seen trauma heal so fast and so purely. It was like the sunbeams came down from the heavens and kissed his heart's scars away.

Oh my god....he got 30 years younger, right before our eyes. Beautiful. How wonderful that it turns out like that for some people. We need a follow up on this story, please. Congratulations to this gentleman, who very clearly raised loving, empathic daughters despite having not had the family he deserved when he was little.

I am 52. I found out through Ancestry this past September my mother's husband that was killed when she was 2 months pregnant with me is not my father. My father is alive and we have started a new journey together, a long with my new to me 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Family is everything. Sweet but also so sad. As a child whose dad deliberately abandoned them it breaks my heart that a dad that wanted to be there didn’t get to have that opportunity. So glad he was still alive so they could still meet each other and at least have those end years.

😭❤ I know what he's feeling. All of my immediate family are gone. My dad died at 47 when I was 16. And that's the last time I saw my only family member that I have left. He's my half brother. I know he lives in Kansas City but that's it. I have tried messaging everyone there with his name, no replie. I love that this guy is so happy and excited. ❤

I feel his joy, for over years I finally found my dad with no name. Did the same thing. However, he passed away many years ago. But I'm grateful beyond that I at least have a brother and a big family and have his name. Something as a kid I never thought I would. The amount of joy, happiness and gratitude could never be expressed in words.
