Basically any Arena strat that isn't a fast castle into fighting for relics and booming into imp. Examples are: monk+siege push, tower rush shenanigans, fast imp into gunpowder or monks and trebs, castle drop into unique unit spam, siege tower hop with crossbows/longswords/eagles. Arena has the most variety in viable strategies.
@@anaccountmusthaveaname9110 Yeah, but they are dumb strategies on any open map, that's why it's called a clown strategy. It's stuff that just works on arena and that isn't the standard meta play of going fast castle into grabbing some relics into booming and then just playing it like any other map. I personally love 20 minute imp with Turks for hand canons and bombard canons, as well as an agressive castle drop with Ethiopians for shotel warrior spam and some mangonels.
@@peterpeterson4800 No. Arena only players are called clowns, because of an old meme. There was a big Arena tournament in which these players lost to regular pro players and someone said: "These clowns can't even win their own tournaments." So Arena players are clowns and their non meta tactics are clown tactics. It has nothing to do with the viability of these tactics on other maps. Also, clown is not a derogatory term. It's used by Arena players themselves.
