Honestly this exact scenario is what i hope happens. I don't want DA to leave the Raiders, but then again i didn't want Carr to leave either. Just like i didn't want Gruden to be forced to resign. Al Davis would have told the politics and the Commissioner to f*ck off and retained Gruden. This is just another example of very poor leadership from M. Davis. He should have given DC and DA at least 2 years together to see what they could do regardless of the coach and GM. I don’t see what the problem is here . Former Head Coach Josh McDaniel was the Derek Carr hater right ? Last time I checked , Josh McDaniel was no longer with us right ? Call me crazy but , last I heard Derek Carr likely wouldn’t win the Race for Mayor of New Orleans easily as not all down the digs him , like we do right ?Now I don’t know if AP is also a Derek Carr hater , but Adams wants to play with Derek Carr right ? All I’ve heard this whole off season and since training camp was we need a QB , we need a QB need a QB right? I know that all of you out there are going to think I’m crazy , but instead of settling for a 3rd round Draft Pick that usually gets us a 3 year project that goes from training camp to the practice squad for year one , graduates from the PSquad in his second year to making the team , spends the next 2 seasons on the team mostly as a backup , and then plays a lot more in the final year of his rookie contract . What’s next for the player depends on how he played in his 4th season . If he didn’t play very well , or so so, then I’m sure we’ll keep him for a couple more years , and if he played real well that season especially at near pro bowl level , then I’m absolutely certain , that we’ll let him walk, where he’ll likely get signed by another AFC west team . But instead of all that , why don’t we give up a 3rd round pick or even a 2nd , to the sSaints , we get our QB back problem solved , Adams is happy ! The other WRs on the team as well as the running game gets better and we buckle down get right and make our best run at making the playoffs !

I wish he had not left the Packers, everyone loved him. The Raiders did him wrong trading his friend and QB and the main reason he left the Packers. Now if the Raiders traded him to the Saints for a second rounder and a throw in, good for all. You know, a player who bounces to three different teams with Adams talent as far as their legacy, it hurts their legacy compared to being with one good team where everyone truly loves you compared to all kinds of ego battles, coaching problems, hurt fan feelings bouncing to new teams. Adams is still amazing with the ability to make the improbable spectacular play at any moment. Any team would want him, age is concerning as far as guaranteeing money in a new contract but he could put a team in the Super Bowl if they had a good enough team with a QB good enough to get it to him.

I totally agree with you. We need Adams to be our #2 and Shaheed should be a #3 and more of a weapon in the middle of the field. Those contested throws to Heed, Adams would have better positioned himself to win those battles. Abams would open up the outside for Carr. Olave would have less pressure on him so he can really cook. And Alvin would run behind a far better blocking receiver on those toss and stretch plays. It would be a great move, but I can see him signing with the Jets too.

I think a lot of people are on the same page. I know that my first thought when the news broke is that the Raiders could get rookie QB Rattler from the Saints along with draft picks. That might be an appealing compensation package.

I can’t blame him for wanting to leave. He’s definitely a high emotional player. Happiest guy when they win and the most pissed when they lose. It all comes back to Josh McDaniel’s I knew after the first game he coached for the Raiders it was going to be all bad but he really screwed the raiders for years to come.
