DAVAO TO ILOILO IN 2 DAYS... THIS WAS A CRAZY LAND TRIP TO MEET MY CANADIAN FILIPINO FRIEND!
Kulas/BecomingFilipino and I haven't had a motor trip for a long time - so we decided to meet in Iloilo this week!
But first, after some maintenance and an unexpected boat cancellation - I had to make a long, long trip through Mindanao and Negros Island to get there.
But the baked oysters made it worth it!

Komanda, I am a big fan of your vlogs, I am watching from the capital city of PNG Port Moresby. Your adventures especially with the two wheeler are very informative outside the Philippines big cities like Davao and Manilla. They are funny, sometimes daot 😅 but always interesting, and food anywhere you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner are always beautiful. Hopefully one day I'll travel your routes when in Pinoy...Salamat KD and keeping spreading the good vibes. What a great rendevous! Kulas from BGC to Batangas, then Mindoro and Caticlan. Then you from Davao to Cotabato, Maguindanao, zamboanga peninsula to Dipolog. Then to Dumaguete and Bacolod and Dumangas Port. Then you and Kulas meet in Leganesand proceeded to Iloilo City! Wow! I live in Iloilo City. I wished I could have meet you two in Madge coffee.

I traveled from Pagadian City by bus to Dapitan City. Upon arrival, I took the ferry boat and reached Dumaguete City by dawn. I took a Ceres Bus and reached Bacolod City in the morning, had my breakfast, and went again and took the early ferry and by lunchtime, I reached Iloilo City finally to see my parents This was years ago early in my career. My dad was working there as a government official in one of the agencies of the government back then. My travel took me two days too.

You should try staying and the food at La Casona in Dumaguete or Baly Oriental. Dums Day is known for their great Spanish food
