I think a lot of people from outside of the UK find it hard to understand J Hus, his whole persona and style etc. Being from the UK and more specifically London, we understand him to a T. Once you understand his way of writing, style, delivery etc. he’s on another level man. He’s in his own lane. He’s the UK GOAT, for me.

What makes J Hus so ill, is the fact he embraces his African Roots and the gambian influences stand out brazy but still keeps the Gritty UK style and the use of Cockney Slang and UK slang makes it slap, maybe you have to be from the UK to fully appreciate it

Great J Hus tracks to start with... Did You See No Denying deeper than rap Big Conspiracy... His 2 most recent albums are outstanding, personally in album format it goes Dave no. 1, J Hus no.2 for me. He's not bar heavy, but his cadence and passion really come through when you listen to him more.

A big part of why we love j hus is because of our culture and the times of when he released his older tunes like dem boy paigon or friendly which used to RINGGGG off in all the motives and it just created nostalgic moments, even when he was locked up and drake bought him out on stage was just another heavy moment for the culture, some of us view him in much more different life simply because we grew up around his time and music 🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Nah man J hus is an originator. A lot of the other rappers you hear bit of Hus in his earlier days. Personally I think in your own time or on the channel you should listen to his album “Common sense” for me it’s a perfect balance between flows and bars. He has so many classics on that album.
