Dave should be a motivator for ANYONE that is navigating their professional life, or maybe life in general.. Hearing him say how he bombed, and even HE thought HE SUCKED, but he kept working at it and didn't give up. Not only did he succeed, but like many here acknowledge, he reached the top of heap.
He has a compilation called Road Work that is an amazing one too! I agree with you that he has few specials but they are all great and further more Captain Miserable has some of the best constructed jokes out there but the audience wasn`t understanding that.

Dave is such a humble guy. He's one of the best comics out there. Kick my ass for saying this but... he really is funnier than Sam Kinison and Bill Hicks.

@@KittenBasher69 I feel like Jim Norton is a good comic but, not a good person inside, while Dave Attell seems to be a decent human all the way. This is how I feel, don`t take my comment to heart, I might be wrong :).
I am working from home, coughing my way through COVID Round II, Omikron Variant, and it simply amazes me how Dave never seems to tell the same joke twice!
