Hi Dave , very interesting video , I recently swapped to Black Gold for all my shooting , having watched a number of your videos , I shot gamebore for years when I lived in Yorkshire , now living in Co Leitrim , Ireland for over 20 years , Woodcock are our main quarry and the no 9's are perfect , the one thing I am extremely pleased with is the no of birds dead in the air and I have pulled off some amazing long shots on duck, pheasant and some amazing woodcock , plus lol being from Yorkshire I am not using many cartridges , today 5 woodcock out of 6 cartridges , Best Wishes Pete , Givendale Spaniels

I shoot Sellior & Bellot fantastic shell's with these if it fly's it dies end off ,super trap 7's and parcours 8's lot cheaper than most to!

Very interesting series on patten testing. How much difference in practice do you find between 3/4 choke and 1/2 choke. Also do you ever use a big patten plate so you can see the whole patten ?

Hi David, they seem to be by your tests an excellent shell all round , but may I ask if they are smooth to shoot ,or are they in the upper limit in the recoil dept for 28grm loads . Regards.

Dave, the blue diamonds appear to pattern similarly and perhaps in a superior fashion in the 7.5. Given they are noticeably lighter in the shoulder, could these actually provide a better all round experience than the black golds? Thanks

Hi Dave interesting little test those 8s pattern well ! I use the white gold 7.5 how would you compare them with the black gold as I respect your opinion greatly . Also what is that jacket you are wearing please regards Phil
