I remember when this came out and saw it the first time. I was spending the night at my dads house and everyone had fallen asleep so I flipped the channels and happened to find this right after it started like 2 or 3 minutes in. I watched it on like a 45" "Big Screen" 20 years ago...I was 17. This is my favorite Chappelle special, one of my favorite all around Stand up sets.. BTW, I have seen a few of your videos, I don't know but I really like your laugh and smile. It is one of the most genuine sounding laughs.

I like that Dave always makes a point to talk about “white friends”. I think a lot of people, find it normal or comfortable for their entire social circle to be the same race. If you don’t have any friends that aren’t the same race as you, then just be open to it, and when the opportunity presents itself, jump on it and make friends, make plans to hang out. You may be missing out on the best friend of your life. Even if they turn out not to be your bestie, you meet other people through them....and maybe your bestie or the love of your life gets introduced to you? I know I see BOTH white and black people that are clearly uncomfortable being around a lot of people that are a different race. The only way to get over that, is just to spend time with these people. Most people simply lack experience. When I meet someone a bit stand-off-ish, I just choose to believe that they probably have not had the best experiences with white people before. So I take it upon myself, to demonstrate that I’m a decent human being. Sometimes they warm up, sometimes they don’t, but that doesn’t mean that my behavior hasn’t impacted their opinion on other people. So be kind, and remember that so much of the tension, is simply a lack of experience and comfort with the situation.

May I say you are indeed gorgeous. If you are an actress, you would have give Harry Berry a run for her money back in the day.
