Back in the 80s, Me and two other white sailors went to see Eddie Murphy's "Raw," at a mostly black-filled theater. Every time Eddie would mock the whites, the black audience would watch us closely to see our reaction. We were laughing uncontrollably. That made them laugh harder. We laughed at them laughing at us and vice versa. In short, everybody had tears coming out of their eyes with laughter. A good time was had by all. I miss those days.

In the 70's I was in Reno and saw Don Rickles with a bunch friends, one a black guy and one a pretty red head amongst them. We greased the tuxedo-ed host's palm to get front row, he took it but not without warning us "are you sure?" and he killed them both from the stage. It was the best time ever. Everybody laughed because ... it was a jokes.

Love your channel. I am a white guy that grew up in Hilltop Tacoma and the Rainier district in my younger years. All of our groups were insane diverse and we talked mad shit to each other, shit that would have the mainstream media screaming “racism-bigot” until their voices disappeared, and we never had one altercation because of just this scenario here. We all bleed red but are all beautifully different all the same. I wish it could go back to how it was when I was younger. We spend so much time being offended because of our differences that we forget how to laugh at them. It sucks how unhealthy the media and social media and other groups create division for clout and a paycheck now. I would love to see your channel focus on making people learn how to laugh at our differences and not be so offended. Y’all’s laughter is inspiring for a better world. Keep up the good work. Peace.

People of pale complexion isolate themselves/ourselves out of fear of the other so all we're left with is impersonal online interactions. Along with this one and Clayton Bigsby skit, the 2 most popular skits are: - Rick James full story which is only on Netflix or HBO Max (Season 2 Episode 4 and starts at 2.40) - Wayne Brady full clip (Season 2 Episode 11 and starts at 11.50) RU-vid only shows half of the skits and most people think that's the entire skit but it's not. So definitely got to Netflix to HBO Max

I love it, this was back when people weren’t so offended by everything and people could laugh at stereotypes. These days, people are too sensitive, we live in a world where the youth are ashamed of nothing and offended by everything, so sad. I love Dave Chappelle and will always be grateful for the laughs he gave us.

@Professional 2022. Of course Dave Chappelle can get away with saying the N-word. No one can do a skit like this about the Jewish community! Ask yourself why? Someone also brought up in a previous Dave Chappelle special the convo he had with an Executive about the f word and n word, and asked why he couldn't say it f word but could say n word. It is also important to note that some of the skits Dave Chappelle did he regrets now. He has also spoken on this.

Isn't it cool that three races can get together do a skit and let it all out with nobody getting offended. Well at least back then we had a sense of humor and not everybody was so sensitive. Back in high school and college in the late seventies we all used to sit around with all the races in the school and we would tell racist jokes and if the race that the joke was about laughed they had to take a shot and chug a beer. There was never any fights, never any hard feelings and 50 years later we're still all friends.

One thing needs to be remembered this is comedy you know that thing called " humor". Another point its black people and white people working together to create comedy. Dave Chappelle is the boss and the actors get paid to act so essentially they are all doing their job. If some one gets offended be it black or a white person then their mindset is racist to begin with. I saw this when it aired and I thought it was a brilliant piece of comedy. Your reaction videos are awesome so keep up the good work.

Key word is _taping_ . Was the actual show _broadcasted_ live? Not saying it's the case with this show, but the live audience thing is mostly a gimmick. Yes they have real people and you might get a crowd that actually laughs loud enough and often enough, but if it's not good enough they will fluff it up with a laugh track.

The fact that your brother on the right in the gray/blue hoodie asked about who is laughing in the background is pretty profound to me since one of the white spectators laughed too hard at one of his skits and that is what sparked his desire to quit the show. He said it made him uncomfortable and they only aired that sketch 3 times.

Watching this again makes me appreciate as a white person how therapeutic this must have been for Dave Chappelle. Just watching him throw in that extra n-word at the white family must have felt terrific after all the people who look like me who have ever called him that word to degrade him. As a disabled guy, it's like me turning the word "gimp" or "cripple" around on a bully. There's a certain part of me that would feel great doing that, so I completely get it and I laugh so hard at that part because of it. I'm sure until he started feeling like a slave to Comedy Central and Hollywood, a lot of these skits he created and developed were really therapeutic for him - to be able to turn something that caused so much pain and suffering for people into some of the funniest stuff ever put on TV.

He has a bit in one of his recent specials where he tells about those days, a conversation he had with a network executive. He was being told he couldn't say f bombs, when he asked why he couldn't say the F word but he could say the N word with impunity, she responded, "because David you're not gay." To which he replied "but I'm not a N word either." Puts another perspective on these sketches but i certainly agree with your sentiment.

Many RU-vidrs have made more than 12 thousand reactions to Diana over the past couple of years. RU-vidrs especially liked Diana's performances on TV shows - 'You are Super' and 'ShowMASKgoOn'. - Can't Help Falling in Love, Crow, Personal Jesus, Wicked Game, Human. Diana sings mostly in English, Russian and French. She has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and Arabic. I was happy to see your reaction to Diana!
