Noooo, a *lot* of comics have high level intellect. Combine that with a need for attention and it’s easy to see why they’re such miserable people, as a group.
Dave pointing out the humor in racism and showing off that nobody's special at the end of the day, that's true comedy. People can't laugh laugh at themselves these days
The only true racism that exists in this country is against white people entirely propagated by the people that Kanye talks about. But you’re too brainwashed and small minded to understand that, and you’re also just going to go along with whatever mainstream narratives are being pushed in the first place because you just want to feel like you’re doing the right thing and that you’re on the “right side” of history.
It ain't exactly "easy" when Comedy Central hack acts deliver the joke in a brain damaged, tasteless way. Dave knows how to tell it in a story driven way to get the audience going because he has actual thought process. There's a reason why those standup knockoffs never take off after their first set
He's so spot-on. Always. In every single routine. Cuts through all. Speaking as a superwhite guy, blacks need more Dave Chappelles. He's an absolutely fantastic representation of you guys.
I’m a white male from Pennsylvania, and was married to a black woman from Louisiana for a while. Her cooking had so much salt, fat, butter and food deep fried in oil in it that my blood pressure went through the roof, I gained 20 pounds, I became pre diabetic, and my cholesterol shot up 40 points within one year of marrying her. She was a nurse with a masters degree and was working on her doctorate, so it’s not like she didn’t know better. It’s not like this only happens to black folks, it’s just that culturally they are predisposed to cook this way. It was fucking delicious!
Dave Chapelle has always been really good about making comedy out of racial issues without being an ass about it. He makes fun of everyone equally 😂 I have always enjoyed watching his career.
I just can't comprehend how could any sane human being be offended by this great Comedian, I mean I'm a Muslim Arab and I Laughed my butt off 😂😂🤣😭 . Much Love and respect for this man🤘 Dave Chappelle is the G.O.A.T, period.🫡
My all time absolute favourite comedian = Dave Chappelle, so supersmart, eloquent, informed, nothing gets past him, I truly wish I could meet him some day and just listen & hang out 🙏🙌😏
@@Antibong Hi Dick, sorry to hear someone, a woman? how could you tell? Damaged your car, nasty. I am a 6'2" male, 69yo living in Australia. So, NO, not me.
You said: Joking about race brings the human race together. Laughter is universal I say: Too bad Dave Chappelle is the only comic that can do it, any other that dares to have the same comedic style would obliterate they're career single handedly overnight. (Dear White People) absolutely love his non-threatening personality so much so that even those who wanted to punish him for ending the Chappelle Show can't hold a grudge against him; lucky for Dave the Elitist love him the most.. Dave is able to OUT them and make them laugh at themselves at the same time that's why he's still the KANG of comedy and is still breathing.
The real fact is young black males are committing and putting themselves around crimes more often then others and when they deal with police they don't know how to engage, generally speaking of course.
Born yesterday? Carlin was spitting truth a long time ago, and then there were people before that I don't even know about... He definitely represents this generation.
He's a good comedian but why do you have to view everything in racial terms? I like many funny comedians of different races, but I wouldn't describe any of them as this white human being/this Hispanic human being. It's a shame that everything has to be put into racial groups, many people who are white, Hispanic, Asian, native etc love this man's sense of humour.
Always loved this guy. Saw him in concert in Detroit right before he blew up. He was hilarious! Best comedy show I’ve ever seen to this day. I respect Dave for refusing to bend the knee to the woke lunatics who are hellbent on destroying ANYTHING FUN! Life is hard enough out here and now we’re not supposed to be able to laugh either?!! FOH!!
Go deeper Dave. Do some Don Rickles insult shit. He was The Master. You right there with him. I grew up during the Civil Rights Era. Humor got us through it. Worked well untill the media and Hollywood lost their damn brain damaged minds. Best wishes my Brother.
I love Dave Chappell. His attention to the timing of his joke delivery. I love to see differences in the three skits on the the Chappell show. They are 1. Pop Copy. 2. The Haters club (extended). 3. The R. Kelly's court case about his penchant for performing the act.
3:25 Back in the 70s when I was in basic training in Camp Dix, there was a guy in the unit from the deep South who would call blacks in the unit the "N" word. This is the point. I have to really commend the blacks there at the time. They laughed about it because he was a short fat dumpy kid. The blacks just thought he was so stupid they did not bother with him and nothing happened. One black guy told me, "He's demented. What the fool is saying in reality is, "Hi, can you please beat me to a pulp."
@@jasmine-fw4yq You know this is a euphemism treadmill, right? Whatever words you use right now -- African-American, BIPOC, Black with a capital B -- they will probably mark you as a racial reprobate in twenty years just like "Negro" and "the blacks" do today. Also Chappelle says "the blacks" right at the end of this clip.
He talks a lot about racism, I wonder how much he really knows about statistics and the real world. Would be interesting to see him in a conversation with Thomas Sowell, John McWhorter, Glenn Loury, or even young Coleman Hughes for that matter.
Fuk yeah. Dave got his shit together and started working out with the same intensity he applies to his comedy. Would love to see his routine. Not that I’d follow it but be cool to see
@Jim Barr Official You don't think that's the case with most good comedians? I think it's sort of a requirement, since comedy is largely an art of making taboo statements without actually saying them. At least that's how I see it. I do agree that they both share that quality, I just don't see how it relates to them any more than people like Carlin, Hicks, Burr, O'Neal, etc.
Really? Priorities are really fucked up if you can kill people, really kill people in RU-vid but you can't name a safe drug which works for covid without getting censored.
