Dave Chapelle - Breaking racial barriers better than any politician or activist ever did. Chronicles our differences humorously and doesn't use them to stir up hatred.
S Davis There's a difference between racist and racial humor. Clearly you don't know the difference. It's not 'against' white people, it's simply 'about' white people. Not dehumanizing them or saying anything hateful. And his characterization of a white dude was pretty neutral, all things considered. The fact that you defaulted to "uneducated thug" when wanting to portray a Black man is pretty telling. You're a racist.
AEIOUY You clearly don't watch comedy. Bill Burr, Louis CK, and Neal Brennan are white comedians who use racial humor. Yes, including about black people.
I swear, this guy is a comedic genius, even when he's not telling jokes, the in between talk is hilarious. "What happened baby?? I thought you were friends??" that voice...lol.
Yeah that's the thing about great stand up comedians, you'd think it's "in between" stuff, but everything is written and rewritten, everything is a build up to a joke, and that joke itself contains small jokes. But all that comes off so natural and has such a good ryrhm to it, that you really think the guy is just talking.
Melissa Clair Seriously, get the fuck out of my face with your racist double standards. Insecure woman who cannot recognize DOUBLE STANDARDS when they are right under your nose!
Im white and its true. whenever im high i always say : daym im high.. Woo im fucking stoned! Ey dude you remember when we got so high that arnold peed his pants :P
Dear Dave, Please come back into the entertainment business as soon as is possible. We all miss you a lot. You are the best, funniest stand-up alive. Hope to see you soon. Love, Everyone
Never pass out around white people.....sooooo true. Heard stories in college that hipped me to that. Great people to get drunk and high with......just don't pass out.
Man if people dont like dave chappelle they got to be out of their mind,This guy be having me on the floor laugh, they got to like him cuz he so dam funny.lol
In most instances they actually add in a laugh track to some shows because either the microphone doesn't pick up the audience or they do it to make the televised version more entertaining to watch. It's easier to laugh when you assume other people are laughing.
Gotta love Dave Chapelle! His attitude and way of looking at white and black, and making fun of it in a friendly way, I belive is really worth something. Its still a way to walk when it comes to rasism, but fronting guys like Dave, I think is pulling in the right direction. Keep it up Dave!
@@jh4277 old chappelle was leagues better and less arrogant. Worked harder on his material rather than rehash and duplicate the same joke with minor alterations
I love Chapelle. He can actually joke about race without insulting or offending any race. I have no idea how he does it with what he says but he somehow remains respectful.
I love going through all these Dave Chappelle videos and they're all named "black people", "white people", "grape drink", "white people can't dance", "chinese/korean people", etc. etc. etc.
@DigitalCyborg00 I like the way he's not afraid to give his stories an absurd twist to add to the comedy. It's something that's very normal in British comedy, but in American comedy I haven't seen it too often. F.e. Chris Rock's main concern seems to be to 'tell it like it is'. Chappelle doesn't seem so focused on getting his audience to agree with him, he's focussed on making them laugh, which I find very refreshing.
I'm not sure what was funnier... this video or the fact Chappelle totally lost his mind and had to quit as an entertainer. OK, the last part was hilarious.
Yeah, if you're the first guy to pass out at a party, and you pass out way too early, the guys at the party will be sober enough to notice, but too drunk to care...they will fuck with you. If you can manage to last at least as long as everyone's too drunk to notice you've passed out, you're safe. Especially if some guy has already passed out.
This is one of Dave's best and underrated bits considering how true it is. I've heard a lot of basic white bros always recounting how much they drank thinking people would be impressed by their growing alcoholism. Fucking no personality having drones. And they sound exactly like Dave's white guy impression here.
