I can't believe Ricky didn't hold onto the discs he HELPED DESIGN when he played for Lat64. Insane. Had no Compasses or Explorers ready to go when he moved to Dynamic Discs from Innova.

Last year was the first time in awhile without a sponsor. Now it's like an entertaining journey to see what I still like to throw and new things I can try to work into my bag. I love what you're doing! I've brought several disc back that I haven't thrown since 2010-2014 and it's making me have more fun with the game.

Love the Spike. It was the first Lat putter I tried and it helped me learn pop up to flat or pop up to turnover shots in the woods. Also a ninja putter for those long float runs at the basket because it's so easy to get to glide straight

Awesome, Dave - Thanks! Best wishes to you and Synthya. It must be awesome to have such huge consistency, that you can arrange 5 Destroyers in various stages of wear and flight shape, and rely on those flight shapes. Truly, the Holy Grail for disc golfers. Great to see the Sinus sticking around - I still have at least 6 you signed for me in Auckland in 2015. I'm surprised not to see some other MVP or Axioms in testing. The Envy is pure money as a throwing putter if /r/discgolf is to be believed. I've thrown one for many years.

I was really expecting a Boss in there. I started playing about 7 years ago and one of the first discs I ever bought was a tie dye Dave Feldberg signature champion boss. It's my favorite disc, I can't (won't) play without it.

Great ITB by a legendary player. My opinion: one putter - the Wizard - in various states of wear, will do everything you need to do for putting and approach shots.

I had a 175 Wizard in Evolution plastic. The E plastic then used to be pretty flimsy, so I actually was at the Gateway factory, and found one super super tight. I played it over 15 years. Perfect against the wind putter, push putter, and approach putter. I did carry one lighter, less stable putter for long distance putts, but really, that was just because that Wizard was so good I could afford a second putter out of vanity. I’ve thrown the KC Aviars back in the day, the Wizard was hands down better. If I ever decide to play again (injury) I’m going back to the Gateway factory again. I hate the name of it, but the Demon was like a super over stable Roc, and no one ever mentions it, but was a incredibly useful approach disc.

Honestly an interesting point that Dave brings up is how high quality trilogy and attitude plastic was and that it was so good that he had a hard time breaking in those discs where he wanted them.

I want all players to have the option to throw multi-brand. I mean, you hear how Dave is talking about these old discs? It feels like what my bag is. Why someone would be brand loyal (outside of sponsorships) is beyond me. No brand makes a perfect disc for each slot. Thanks for this. Also, what is the NP Tour? I missed that - do they allow players to throw what they want?

Great video! Six discs that might work: Discraft Vulture speed 9/10, Axiom Envy, Latitude 64 Gauntlet (350' driving putter), Latitude 64 Opto-X River, Dynamic Discs Hybrid Defender, and Innova Prototype Ape. I throw about 400' flick and backhand and i know Dave still crushes.

Envy 4 sure! I usually bag 3. From US to OS: Electron Soft (seasoned), Electron Firm, and Eclipse. I throw them at pretty much everything under 225'. What plastic u bag?

@@DJCoop1 Nice! I actually bag 3 as well! Electron Soft for windy putts, Plasma for absolute tunnel shots, and Soft Neutron for straight with a great fade at the end. Don't know what I would do without them

The Striker and the XXX are 2 extremely, EXTREMELY underrated discs. Can't see those two leaving my bag. Although I prefer them in different plastics than Dave, Gold for Striker and Frost for XXX. I actually don't like the Opto Striker anywhere near as much as the Gold line one 😂

If you like the Mayhem, try the MVP Octane. The Mayhem is a beat-in Octane. For super long rollers I also suggest the MVP Catalyst.

KC Aviars baby! All day. p.s. Try out a glow champion Shryke. If you can find one, the konopiste open ones from last year were great. It's a little touchy I admit, but if you can tailor your arm speed a bit then it's a very useful disc

Zone was first out in 2008 the Sinus was in 2009 or the early 2010's because that disc was not out when I stopped playing and looking for new discs from 2009-2014 but really 2015 when I came back to disc golf.

Dave, try the st. Jude's Sparkle Buzz instead of that buzz OS, the feeling is incredible and it's the perfect amount of overstable / predictable. Can't stop hitting baskets with it. It's on infinite so I'm sure they'll let you give it a try :-)

Maybe too special. From Kastaplast my recommendations are Stål for overstable fairway driver, Kaxe (but he has Rocs) or Falk for understable fairway driver unless it is too understable. New ones have been more stable than first runs. I'd like to see some Millenniums as well. Scorpius like someone said or LF. Interesting to see what his bag will be. Probably tempted to have mainly Latitude and Innova, but that is not very mixed bag. Probably will have something from Discraft, but I hope he bags at least 4 manufacturers to make it a proper mixed bag.

@@Tonwarr i use the Berg for approach shots. The grym is my go to forehand driver. Really curious about the new Göte. I think it will fit my bag nicely
