This was my 50th birthday. As if being there in person (from Michigan) wasn't enough of a gift, I got a Two Step closer. Forever grateful.

This is just excellent work by the videographer. Well done Jordan, well done. Hook up with Copperpot to work on editing and sound improvements. Not that it needs much work but a tweak here and there and it’s professional AF.

Pretty eclectic set list to start off. Big Eyed Fish? Unexpected.

There’s only 3 guests at a DMB show that are guaranteed to make said show a memorable one and those 3 are 1. Warren Haynes 2. Bela Fleck 3. Robert Randolph.

I am torn. I would hate to stand behind you for this show assuming you filmed the whole thing, really takes me out of the experience. But here I am enjoying the content. Funny the way it is.

Gone are the days of bringing in a camcorder into the venue...now it's a sea of cellphones, and yet we need to be thankful...for we wish we could go backs to those days gone by and use current tech to film those legendary shows of yore

My man. Talk about Jonny on three Spot. Next day upload? Awesome. And it looks super good quality wise. I’ve been rifling trough old DMB shows and May I recommend 12/3/98 at MSG. Best concert from any band I’ve ever attended and the encore with Warren Haynes May be the best ever. Also been listening to Listener Supported from 9/11/99. A show I was blessed to attend. Actually sat behind the stage which at first sounds kinda shitty but Dave turns around so much, especially back then it felt like front row, PIT just behind the stage. I’ve seen the boys 77 times but not since 2018. Which is crazy. I miss Leroi. I also never understood the whole ordeal with Boyd. After his departure the Band kinda turned into a reincarnation of the original DMB just like the Grateful Dead did after Jerry died. I’m not saying Boyd is on Jerry’s level but I’ve always believed he was part of the core and irreplaceable. Jeff is ok but he just doesn’t do it for me. Thank God for Rashawn. Dude playing the keys now adds nothing for me personally. He’s still not listed as a member of the band.

Crazy that while I was writing this obnoxiously long comment I mentioned Warren from 12/3/98. And here he is again.

I get that you are an OG fan, certainly longer than myself, and you've definitely been to more shows...but I'd highly recommend going to see them again. They have been incredible this tour, specifically the last month. They aren't the "same" and never will be without Boyd and LeRoi (or as 50-60 year olds lol) but I tend to agree with what Stefan said in an interview back in May..."“What I call the classic vibe-which is Dave, Carter, Boyd, LeRoi and me-was a very special moment in the history of this band. That being said, I think this is the best band we’ve had. I love how we play together and how everyone is enjoying each other’s company. Buddy has brought an amazing, positive vibe to the stage and it’s infectious." Boyd is hit or miss. I actually enjoy him being gone on some songs, but really miss him on others and his violin is certainly an iconic part of the original band. You cannot ever replace LeRoi, however, I'd argue that Jeff is every bit as talented...just a different vibe/style than LeRoi. You mentioned Listener Supported which I love. #41 is probably overall my favorite song whether its D&T Live at Luther College or Listener Supported, but watch LeRoi on Listener Supported and then Jeff on Live in Europe 2009. Both incredible, just different. Tim is now a fulltime member and one of the GOAT on guitar, Rashawn has been a great addition, although admittedly sometimes the Trumpet annoys me for some reason...BUT... "the dude playing the keys" (Buddy Strong) is incredible and has been a breath of fresh air to the band ...hell he even filled in on the drums at the Gorge on like a days notice when Carter tested positive for Covid...Buddy has been great. All just another fans opinion of course. I can't wait to see them again in 5 days - "only" show number 14 for me....wish it was 41 instead lol

Ive been to 54 plus shows, and a ticket inthe nosebleeds at Jones was going for $130. No way Dave should be closing shows with So Dam Lucky. Love the song , buts its a Dave solo album song and people shouldn’t pay around $200 just to get it, he need to not finish on that. Bogus
