I used to listen to this song all the time in the car with my mom. The lyric "Red is the color of the sun with my eyes closed" has been stuck in my head for at least seven years, and I didn't know which song it was from, but I found that piece of my childhood today. I haven't heard it in a long time. I love this song

Always loved this song for its groove and then one day actually broke it down only to realize why the song is called "Seven": Main groove with the drums and bass guitar is in 7/8, alternating between a 2+2+3 and 3+2+2 patterns, all while the hi-hat is keeping time in 7/4. This shouldn't work as well as it does, and it definitely shouldn't make me want to dance as much as it does (also probably why my fiance thinks I'm a terrible dancer...), but holy sevens, Batman, it's just sooo good.

It 's slightly different, the 2009 record'recording was captured in Lucca (Italy), which doesn't seem to be the venue in this clip. Differences are not that many though.
