Lois Heichberger certainly. It’s just a problem when people (mainly for the politician of choice) staunchly and blindly get behind everything they do and they are flawless and can do no wrong. Watch out for those folks. But Dave indeed is a terrific musician
@@leighannereynolds5720 ..yes, John C seems to think we might or Dave might be sheeple or some such character. We are appreciating a man for his music and lyrics. And we bless him for all his work. (Maybe.....)..but why anyone thinks we mean his political views as the reason we listen, I don't get that. Politics are personal. Bad assumptions dangerous. John C needs to see a different truth......his own.
Lost my two year old baby girl. Heard this song at the end of 21 grams. This is the only song I’ve heard so far that expresses my amount of grief. So beautiful.
Rain coming down still walking listening to music with clouds moving my destination its was a glimpse of the truth without compensation and only natural reactions I made it through hell without a grave. In hawaii
So Incredibly Talented is this man and his band. Such a pleasure to listen to him in so many ways, Live, Studio etc. He offers so many different versions of his songs they always sound new and refreshing.
100%... ❤️, I've been to this version for years since i first listened to it. I think it's a favorite song just bc he plays it so well, sings with great emotion, and a perfect voice. All by himself. Amazing song writer. Such a pretty and soulful song.
Can't see how anyone would give a thumbs down? This is an epic performance of the song. A healing loves departures painful longing to hold on to what still is and what might have been. Roller coast that rips my fn heart out and then makes me grow a bigger better one before doing it all again and again. I LOVE IT! TY
It sounds like one of those from the late 60s, early 70s. His strumming reels us (everyone) in. I do want to go to the record shop. Find the D's file, flip thru to DMB albums, and hope the Radio City Music Hall Live is not sold out.... ETC, ETC, ETC....Pay at the register, watch as he/she bags it up ...the whole process. Bringing it home and putting it on the turntable. And let the music heal you, get your soul free. It WOULD sound so very good...our record shop was Cavage's... At the Malls.
Man.. when I listens to this song as a youngster I was going through such a dark time.. I couldn’t even listen to this song without anxiety and pain coming to me.. I’m happy i can now listen and enjoy
As big and as well know as he is, I feel like he is also simutansely not given enough respect for how good of a muscian and song writer he is outside of his fans
Why is it so beautiful? What is the nature of its beauty what is the causative factor of this insatiable reaction that we call love This deep emotion That can never truly be conveyed through words Like a deep longing A blissful release of something that lies between utter sadness And complete and total ecstasy Yet it can never be pinned down Though most may see it as good It can never really be called good or bad Because it is neither And it is both It is home And it is who you really are
Yes, I'm listening to this version at least once a week, usually the AM drive. Today, bc I'm feeling it all, life, loss and a beautiful cocktail called Lilac French 75... 💜🌿💜
Can someone recommend a song of Dave Mathews that has a slow and beautiful melody like this one? Thank you very much. This is the first and the only song by Dave Mathews band that I've heard. it melts my heart every time I listen to it. His guitar sound is absolutely stunning. This has become my favorite song.
this was kinda a stand alone type performance. i think if you just watch the videos of the central park concert, you will really get what the "band"'s feel is. dave and tim doesnt necessarily=DMB
alot of musicians, they sound pretty good on their records but like crap in person. Dave Matthews sounds great both on the record and on stage. AMAZING MUSICIAN!!
This song makes me think twice about all my bad habits, and quitting . Example : Alcoholism. Its fun till it starts killing you. Dont do it. Same goes for drugs.
