Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined the board of directors in 2001.

Possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen. Tim Reynolds=luckiest man on earth. Not only jamming guitar gawd style w/Dave......Guitar Gawd!, but Dreaming Tree to boot, one of my favorites.

Faking sincerity? Obviously you have never seen Dave or DMB play live. There is nothing fake about them. They put everything they have into every performance. One of the best live bands around.

I can understand people like the songs but this duo's improvisation is less than mediocre. John Mclaughlin and masters of improve get 1/100 of that audience. There's no way it deserves the screaming fanatics it has. It's the definition of "brainwashed fanboy"

The delicacies of the acoustic medium in display here. A feeling we all have. Dave at his best 👌. Love is the answer. But its difficult to get to the altruistic idea. Why do I hate Dave Matthews' music so much? After all, he is pretty good at faking sincerity! Hey, he even has a VIOLIN player! How can I hate music with a violin in it...?...played by an actual black man...? Last night I listen to Before the Crowded Streets, that I haven’t been listen to for a long time and after listen to The Dreaming Tree I You Tubed it wich is my “Dave Matthews You Tube premiere”.
