Welcome to the Letterman RU-vid Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. These highlights have been artisanly-produced, carefully-curated, and chosen completely at random by an old computer that used to pick numbers for the New York Lotto back in the 90’s.

Dave has a nice swing, though. He always displayed pretty decent athleticism for a guy who wasn’t a pro athlete before transitioning into entertainment.

He can really book too. He did treadmill every day and can run fast, but the motion is a bit odd, looks like a guy running on a treadmill. He ran on a few episodes.

Despite the big build up, I knew Dave wouldn't have had it set up to hit a homer. That's not his style!

Didn't know John Sterling and Michael Kay share a booth together with Yankees home games until now. They must have good chemistry together during that time! And Dave with that swing was sweet until it popped up to short.
@MikeChimeri
@MikeChimeri 2 года назад
They did from 1992 to 2001. Then, Michael went to the YES Network and Charley Steiner became John's partner. When Charley left for Dodgers radio, John became the sole play-by-play announcer with Suzyn Waldman as his analyst. He's alone in the booth in the last inning because Suzyn goes down to the field for interviews. There was a time when I couldn't stand John and his quirks, but now I appreciate them. There are times when John and Michael are on the same wavelength. At one point in the season opener Friday, I had WFAN on in the MLB app and YES on my TV, and both of them referred to the top 2nd-inning-ending double play as a "5-4-3 DP."

Very well-executed. The most bizarre at-bat was Billy Crystal, a college baseball player, actually took a turn at bat in spring training. He struck out, but looked good in the box and got good wood on a foul ball.

No dice: People who know Indiana knows those birds don't have an MLB team so there is no way Mr. Letterman could have learned these skills, much less and designation as a "hitter".
