@@elijahrajpaul9189lol Dave understood the context from Bobby’s text. She was being sarcastic. If a person really wants something “off the record” they open a/ “If I tell you this is off the record ok?” Or something similar. The irony of saying off the record that is the same as what you say on the record is the joke that you’re missing and the chicken heads around Dave are purposely not getting in order to be funny and save the sinking pod.
Off the record requires acceptance from the individual receiving said information. You can't just say, 'I want this off the record,' then spout off something. You should ALWAYS wait for the individual to say yes, or if no, don't share said information.
Except he was speaking to a journalist and he's well-versed in this song-and-dance. Not condoning the actions but again, off the record requires acceptance.@@emmanuelmurillo5116
Obviously, but the point is you can't just say 'off the record,' and not allow the individual receiving said message to give a yay or nay.@@habibbialikafe339
@@habibbialikafe339you would say it before hand and confirm w/ the other person. This tho was a joke that Dave understood. The joke is the irony of Bobby telling Dave “off the record” the exact same thing she says on the record. Idk how ppl aren’t getting it.
All i got from this is Dont tell Dave anything off the record because he cant be trusted. All he cared about was numbers because if he had integrity he would have never read her message on film. Even now he is still talking about it without accountability.
I heard part of what happened was that during their interview, Drake played one of the songs he owned during the podcast - on purpose, so he could use that as leverage to copywrite strike the video if needed and take the monetization from Bobbi. I'm guessing what happened was Drake propositioned Bobbi after the concert. Bobbi refused him. Drake was butthurt so he threatened to copywrite strike their interview. She decided to just take down the video, and they both unfollowed each other.
I think off the record means don't talk about this or write about it. So if I say. Off the record, I never kicked a dog. That doesn't mean you're write about it. So and so off the record said, he never kicked a dog. 😂 Dave is not a journalist or has any journalistic ethic nor is his company. They are like a bangbus or Brazzers for entertainment of news. Clickbait trash buzzfeed style but right leaning He is lying what happened and blaming his team. Think of it as a source testing you. So if they say, off the record, I have never liked the color blue and you write about it, you failed the test.
It’s like saying “honestly I’m telling you the truth“ you know it’s a lie then. because if you’re telling the truth, you don’t have to say you’re telling the truth.
Once you say off the record (followed by said thing) that should be the end of it It’s not that deep lol however it is mad funny that Dave is taking zero accountability😂
Bro. No. She said “I’m not talking about this publicly but off the record, no, I didn’t sleep with Drake.” she didn’t want people talking about it, and he still dead. He took some thing she did not want public and made it public. He has no defense here.
What if they unfollowed as a gesture of respect to her husband? What if she meant off the record: it isn’t true. Meaning 1. Off the record as in I don’t want to be publicly speaking about this topic at all because it only feeds the fire and effects my relationship and 2. It isn’t true because it isn’t true.
“There wasn’t a podcast to challenge the gulf of Tonkin” my guy, you’re explaining the advent of the internet and the impact it has, yet he thinks he’s making a profound observation

Drake played a tyga song, don’t know if he owns the song and copyright the video after a falling out or tyga did or demanded money. But something happened ducked up- drakes not a good dude
this podcast is ass get rid of the other 2 guys next to dave. make it only Andrew and the guest, all these podcasts points are halfway getting across because you have 2 goons constantly interrupting. this is why JRE is superior
This is bullshit. He's completely wrong. She didn't say "haha off the record no."... she said "I am NOT commenting on it publicly, but off the record no it didn't happen"... and then he commented on it publicly. Whether he said she did or didn't, HE COMMENTED ON IT PUBLICALLY! He fucked up and did something she didn't want to happen. He's a jerk for saying anything! Period.
How can you not see the joke? Have you watched her? That is totally her sense of humor. But with such a matter, I think I wouldn't just assume someone is being sarcastic. There is a small chance she wanted to answer him, but didn't want it to become an official response because she just wants it to go away. But come on. She is clearly trying to be funny with that response. It's like saying "I have a confession to make. I did nothing wrong."
Akaash needs to chill the fuck out lmao… I swear every podcast he is swinging around/hitting people. Like chill.. we get it we know you think it’s funny…
tell 5footWHATEVER minime india to get a girl...tell her to get a grip around the peanuts, so he knows what it feels like listen to him talking about the spelling competition definition phase he is rerunning through this casual sitdown... -.- jezzus
They are laughing because they think and know Dave is full of sh*t. He won't accept that he was wrong for reading the text on film and to share what Bobby said. They laughed because they wanted to continue the interview pushing back more would have pissed him off so they laughed to make it less tense. Sounded like fake laugh to me
I can see both sides of the argument. I think it is silly to be jumping up and down laughing at him. What he is saying makes perfect sense, but if he really wanted to make sure it was sarcastic, he should have made sure. But her personality is very sarcastic and if I had to bet, I would go with her just being silly, so I agree with his interpretation. But it is also like her to say something that is funny and make it awkward because you can't tell how serious she is.
.... No just no. Assumptions make an ass out of u and me. He was wrong for sharing it publicly. He tried to push the blame on his social media team but it was on him for reading it on film. Of course the team would cut it to go viral that's why he hired them.
@@HardCoverJacket "no just no" whatever bro. You are making assumptions about what his intentions were and your assumptions go against what he clearly said. And I have to suspect you are making that hypocritical assumption because you don't like the guy. But hey, you are just some random person on the internet, not a public figure with a notable podcast, so you can make assumptions without making an ass out of everyone, just you. Have you watched Bobbi? She makes those kind of jokes all of the time. I would bet in Vegas she was making a joke, but to your point, I think he should have double checked with her before sharing it publicly just so people don't make your assumptions. However, she clearly wants people to know that she didn't sleep with Drake FOR THE RECORD.
