Yo link up tv in future for listening sessions can you include the timings of each song in the description as it makes it easier to navigate the video.
“I didn’t like Dave because he makes you stop and think about it “ ... that’s what you’re supposed to do. People too used to mindlessly absorbing music
Stan Stapes loooool...90’s hip hop was built on wordplay, intelligent bars etc. Dilla, Premo, early Kanye, Madlib, Pete Rock, Tribe, Roots, Mob Deep etc
This ain't a listening party to Psychodrama. It's a listening party questioning whether they ever should've done a listening party to Psychodrama. 🤦♂️
Margs needs relax and act professional , a listening party is for listening to the whole album. Can't just skip songs because you ain't feeling it , a review is a complete reveiw
And this right here, is why black youths never prosper. Life is about energy and exposure. You've natured a culture of toxic energy, to a point enlightenment is seen as a depressing vibe. The way drill gets attention and enthusiasm, shows why perpetual stereotypes stand alive within the society. The discourse will never blossom when the soil is truly contaminated. Toxicity will always reign if you don't emancipate yourself from insipid perspectives. Dear black youth, wake up. Please, please, please wake up.
Man said “whippin excursion” SMFH. 35 seconds in and I wish I skipped this video tbh. What a waste of time, most are some Capital Xtra urban pop tart lovers that don’t appreciate decent quality music because it would actually challenge them to think. Do they know what an IVOR NOVELLO award winning artist is? Their faves could never. To disrespect this mans art on a platform like this LINK UP TV should be ashamed.
I'm disappointed with how the tunes on the album was rated. This is most versatile album out of the U.K in recent years. the message, the tune, the lyricism, delivery, production on this project is unmatched. He's extremely intelligent. In 10 years I'll like to see which artist and album everyone will be listening to from this decade that'll be appreciated like this one. Dave made a statement in this body of work and I'm certain posterity will judge this album like it deserves.
I actually love these episode, its very entertaining. they just reviewed my favourite uk artist Dave . but now i want them to do a listening party for Mhuncho new album Utopia plz👏🏿
Fam I actually can't believe you lot listened to a Dave album like this?!?! The Brit & Mercury Prize Album of the year that you lot are listening to you know...you hate to see it
Margs don’t even know what he’s talking about, he just wants to listen to the upbeat tunes when sometimes it’s not all about that, every song in that specific album has actually got a valuable meaning and if you can’t understand that then you can’t be a fair reviewer of the album simple as
These ppl don’t understand or appreciate the progress and meaning of the album. It’s a therapy session with the different types of song showing the different aspects of his personality, mentality, thoughts, life and himself
Margs is talking facts! Dave is cold and hard lyrically! The game is mine goes off in da club! Streatham don’t in-fact I’ve never heard it in a club lol let’s keep it 100.
They need to relax and listen to the tracks from the album and the guy with the red tshirt and the demin shirt needs to chill he is just interrupting the track and chatting bare shit till
Not listening to Black was wild the problem is you dancing and trying to turn up so much and this is the reason our people are a underclass across many countries. Stop trying to turn up so much and take the time to respect a song that has deep meaning rather then dancing around all the time. Your whole listening party could not afford the moment to listen to a very serious song like Black then I will not take the time to view the listening party. Respect must be paid before partying if not then you will die partying and turn up. Grow Up and Respect Roots of Rap. This is what it was created for speaking Truths of Blacks NOT for Entertainment this is what happens when others mass produce Rap but it was brith in Truth and Serious Fights of our people. Do not listen or support Rap if you can not take the time to appreciate the purpose of the Rap in the first place. Who are these rookies, if they were really respectful of Hip Hop and Rap no one would of let the comment of Music being Entertainment. SMH
I wanna know what all these man are saying now psychodrama won album of year at the brits loool too many of these man not putting enough respect on dave’s name
I believe the music connects soo deep with Margs Mashtown days and all, that’s why he’s rejecting it soo much doesn’t want to be in a emotionally vulnerable state around all these people and alcohol, you can tell by how angry his getting it’s either that or cry, tricky is emotionally more mature that’s why he said his gonna cry they both experiencing the same thing tbh margs is rejecting it whilst tricky was embracing it for abit
They need to understand that you must accept something for what it is and fully take it in I know everyone loves Dave when he goes bar for bar but this album is something else artistically which not many of the artists that are popping today can do I think this album was just a insight to what Dave was going thru at the time from the artwork to the title you can see it was thought out I think there’s much more we’ll see from Dave musically and in another headspace he’ll release a project full of bangers soon enough Physcodrama for me was a great album
8:30 the girl said purple heart was the weakest song on the album omds , the wordplay is undervalued and the vibe is calm. Everyones got opinions but if their perception is poor whatever they look at is ever gna be able to show their true value.
