thing is i see bands in sweden and finland. they split up but do this with respect for each other and can still be friends . The only one that i can see filling this spot is tommy ex sabaton member.. i may be old school in my 50s but for me can never replace a male voice girl a female one . this just truns me off

I know zero about whatever the reasons are that they broke up or why the three of them don't want him back but in my life observations if it's three people not wanting to reconcile and one person who wants to it's usually the one person who was and is the issue not the three.

@@GeriatricHippo Not necessarily. First of all, Rob the drummer sided with Sebastian. Second, it's not unusual for musicians to be jealous of the singer/frontman who gets all the chicks. That's the vibe I get from Snake and Rachel. See, those two started the band. And they may want people who they can control. Seb seems to manage to get along with most people. If you watched Supergroup, you can see what kind of person he is working with other musicians. And if you watch the Skid Row home videos, you see what he was like behind the scenes in Skid Row too. I didn't see anything that was egregious. And finally, regarding the "three against one are usually right" point, in my experience (in bands and work situations I've been in), a toxic environment can cause everyone to turn against a single person when they don't deserve it. It's no indication at all of who is in the right. For example, (long story but bear with me) I worked at a hospital sterilizing instruments. Myself and another two people were made supervisors, due to our superior performance and knowledge. That annoyed the dozen old hags that had been working there for decades and didn't want to follow the new procedures. They hated my guts in particular and put in multiple complaints about me, verbally abused me constantly and tried to get me fired. So the consultant who was hired to fix the horrible workplace, after observing it for a few weeks recommended to the higher-ups that everyone (including the manager) be sacked apart from me and the other two supervisors. So in that case, were all those people who hated me in the right? Or did the independent consultant make the right call? It's not just a question of a simple majority.

Seb just released a new solo record, I don't think it's about looking bachwards - it's just that they need a singer and he'd like to rejoin - why not put aside some petty nonsense from 30 years ago and make it happen? Even if they say, hey we're gonna do one album and one tour and then find a new singer.

Crashdïet has also had many different singers throughout their career, the difference is that each singer was awesome in their own style and each album was killer with excellent music you could actually dig. Skid Row has been a mediocre band playing Skid Row covers ever since they booted Bas. They haven't done anything relevant since Slave To The Grind and that's 3 decades ago. Erik was a good singer but nowhere close the frontman Bas ever was and their last record with Erik has nothing to show for. Hopefully, for once, they will make a wise decision and hire Lzzy and record new awesome music with her. Skid Row had a glorious past with Bas, but it's all in the past now, Bas is no longer the young and beautiful Rock Star he was back then, he aged badly, got fat, lost his beauty and voice. Even if he joined Skid Row today it wouldn't be the same. Unfortunately... Maybe when they release suppressed rejuvenation technology (med-beds, celestial chambers) he can go back in time and be the Bas we all loved when he was in his early 20s...
