btw dave, saw a post on iRacing forum which says you want to be shifting 5500 not on the limiter. Apparently it's realistic to the torque curve of the real car... probably why you're struggling with straight line speed.
Would you like to join Dave Cam on his journey through iRacing's season 2 this year? He will be announcing the series and timeslot he's aiming to race in, over on our Discord server - www.discord.gg/Traxion
How do you setup the top left standings box? And also, is there an option to change or modify your radio announcer? P.S. by radio announcer I mean the guy that tells you when a car is left, etc. sry don't know the terminology too much :)
Do you think iRacing should increase the amount of contact before it registers a 4X in that type of close contact racing, or maybe 2x? You did spin him back to forward, don't think he lost to many positions watching in the rear view.
In my opinion, there was way too much blocking, over-aggression, and general dunderheadedness going on in that race. I especially don't like that "tactic" where someone is involved in a wreck, is basically at a full stop, but pulls directly into the traffic lane, just to prevent anyone passing, even if it means causing another wreck. Really? I'm not as negative as I sound in this comment, but this kind of thing really bugs me. Anyway, for your part, Dave, I don't think you did anything at all wrong (I fell like the car you nudged was trying to turn in and block you). As usual, great drive for you. Others . . . I'd call it debatable.
